Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal in principle to sign Everton striker Iliman Ndiaye, according to a report from the Press Association.
The agreement between the two clubs is still subject to the 26-year-old agreeing personal terms and passing a medical before the move is completed.
Spurs striker Richarlison is set to move in the opposite direction, returning to his former club Everton in a separate deal this transfer window.
Sources at both clubs have confirmed the two transfers are not linked to one another, despite taking place simultaneously between the same pair of clubs.
Tottenham have moved swiftly to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window closes on Tuesday, with Ndiaye set to become their next major arrival.
He would join Manchester City duo Savio and Omar Marmoush at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following their signings earlier this week under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Ndiaye had emerged as a top target for Spurs after their pursuit of Cody Gakpo stalled, with several other Premier League clubs also having shown interest in the Senegal international.
Everton made repeated efforts to keep Ndiaye, who played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, but he rejected multiple contract offers over the past 12 months.
The attacker has started all three of Everton’s competitive matches this season, including providing an assist for Thierno Barry’s goal against Crystal Palace on the opening weekend.
Ndiaye joined the Toffees in 2024 following a short stint at Marseille, originally costing £15 million, and has gone on to score 17 goals across 73 appearances for the club.
His arrival at Spurs would hand De Zerbi another versatile option in what is becoming a heavily stocked attack alongside Dominic Solanke, Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Marmoush and Savio.
Tottenham have moved with urgency in the market following two disappointing Premier League defeats, with Ndiaye’s pace, directness and creativity seen as qualities the squad has lacked.
Meanwhile, Richarlison is heading back to Everton roughly four years after he left the club for Tottenham in a deal worth up to £60 million.
The Brazilian scored 32 goals in 134 appearances for Spurs but struggled for consistency due to injuries throughout his time at the club.
Richarlison scored 11 Premier League goals last season but requested to leave this summer and was left out of the squad ahead of the weekend’s fixtures.
