Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal, with Manchester United also tracking the 19-year-old talent.
According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea view Bernal as a potential long-term replacement for Enzo Fernandez, who joined Manchester City on deadline day.
Manchester United are keeping tabs on the Spanish youngster, but Bernal is considered more likely to move to Chelsea if their interest continues to build.
Bernal began his youth career at Berga before spending a brief period with Gimnàstic Manresa, later joining Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy at the age of just six.

Having returned to full fitness, Bernal featured as a rotational option last term and managed six goal contributions across all competitions.
