Manchester United have emerged as a serious suitor for Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe, according to Italian outlet Corriere di Bologna.
The 23-year-old Englishman has attracted interest from the Premier League, with Everton also credited with exploring a potential move for the attacker.
Bologna have set a firm asking price of £34 million for Rowe, making clear the Serie A club knows his market value ahead of what could be a busy summer of outgoings.
The Italian club failed to qualify for European football last season, creating significant financial pressure to sell key assets and balance the books.
Rowe and centre-back Jhon Lucumi are considered the most likely candidates to depart Bologna as the club looks to raise funds this summer.
The winger’s path to Bologna was an unconventional one, having originally joined Marseille on loan from Norwich City before an obligation-to-buy clause was triggered.
His time in France proved short-lived due to disciplinary problems, most notably a dressing room confrontation with midfielder Adrien Rabiot in August last year that led to both players being sold.

United’s interest may ultimately cool unless Marcus Rashford departs, as the club are unlikely to invest heavily in a left winger while Rashford remains on the books.
