Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Paris Saint-Germain central defender Willian Pacho, with journalist Ekrem Konur linking the Gunners to a potential swoop for the player.
The north London club have enjoyed a perfect start to their season, winning every match across all competitions as they look to defend their Premier League title.
Arsenal also have ambitions in the Champions League after finishing as runners-up in 2025/26, making quality additions a key priority as Mikel Arteta pushes for more silverware.
Manchester City are also said to be interested in the Ecuadorian international, meaning any deal for Pacho would involve competition from a fellow Premier League heavyweight.
The 24-year-old is currently valued at £69 million on Transfermarkt and is contracted to PSG until June 2031, making any transfer a complex and costly undertaking.
Pacho has been instrumental in PSG’s run of consecutive Champions League titles under manager Luis Enrique, cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s top central defenders.
The Ecuadorian has developed a strong partnership with Marquinhos at the heart of the PSG defence, with his mobility, recovery speed, tackling, and physical presence drawing widespread admiration.
He is also considered technically gifted, comfortable with the ball at his feet and capable of playing precise long passes to initiate attacking moves from the back.
Despite the reported interest, Arsenal already boast considerable depth at centre-back, with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba forming one of the Premier League’s most formidable partnerships.
