Both Goals …And Thank God For Levy

Image for Both Goals …And Thank God For Levy

This was another game that the Tottinghams of old would have found cause to botch in some way. Roughty toughty northerners showing up on your doorstep looking for bother, a chill in the air. No thank you missus.

Cheatski’s demise at the hands of The French will have undoubtedly cause ripples of delusional grandeur at the Emptycrates, but Arsenal have yet to beat anyone good. For the first time in a long time we sit fourth and actually look worth every penny.

Arry was interesting on Talksport after the game. Essentially he confirmed the interest in Scott Parker and the fact that the Porn Barons don’t want to sell him. But better still was the comment that Levy & Co are keen, yes keen to get in a player that will ‘make the difference’ and underline the achievements so far.

This is bloody good news. The Champions League foray has been a runaway success with the filthy loot having to be shoveled into the vaults as the value of ‘the brand’ soars. I know I’m in the minority in embracing the Stratford move, but the contrast between the silky, free scoring Lilywhites and the odious Primark Massive is stark.

In this day and age when you have chicken magnates sacking football managers it’s a huge, huge asset to a club when the Director has the intelligence and foresight that Levy has.

Tottingham Hotspur. The 10 men specialists. Here’s both goals and I’m still looking for the headbutt.

BIOYC!

We have the best three young central defenders around. Kaboul is a collossus in defence and the way he put the ball through to Lennon for the first goal yesterday was a dream pass. He isa really good youn defender . then we have Dawson. well that is a done deal , the guy is a brilliant central defender as indicatedby his international call up. Bassong will replace Kaboul forthree games and show how good he can be. Bassong is a real future Ledley King. the guy has it all for a central defender.Harry will have to choose between three excellant young guys and three older experienced ones like Gallas , King and Woodgate. Thats a real selection headache but Harry gets well paid to make the choices. All we nee now is a prolific goalscorer up front , i.e. a STRIKER. wE MUST NOT DEPEND ON OUR MIDFIELDERS SCORING OUR GOALS . The srrikers have to play like Keane and Berbatov a few seasons ago . 50 odd goals between them was great, and its what we need now. Goalscorers up front. Come on you Spurs,

When are we going to get that left winger? (for all those who banged on about it for a few years) :daumen:

Levy = hard businessman. The stratford proposal will go down as the greatest bluff in footballing history. We’ll get a sponsor for the stadium at WHL and globally spurs will be either everyone’s favourite team or at least second favourite team.(We’re heading that way already) The thing about spurs is that we are so likeable. A joy to watch and its also something to do with our ethic, commitment to give to the community and although we might be based in a dingy part of londonan there is that pride that still comes through.
I can honestly say I have never been this happy to be spurs supporter and it has to go down to daniel levy.

….everyone except Karen Brady and her wank puppets!

Its true what you say SL; all my mates (who are a mix of Bournemouth and Soton fans with the odd Manure thrown in) want to watch us on Sky down the pub over any other team. Globally we have a fine reputation too which expands our appeal.

Absolutely, us and Barca as the world`s leading exponents of top top football. Both clubs have always played the game the right way and continue to be a joy to watch. Not like our nomadic neighbours who only discovered the passing game when Arsene Wenger arrived. Remember how dull they were before he took over , most of their supporters have very short memories . As for us it has ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE GLORY.

On another topic TAXI FOR WOY.
