yeah course it did! Another ‘ITK’! Fact is IF he signs it won’t be until the last day,(next wed). He can’t play until the 10th sept, wolves, so Levy won’t bring him in a week before he has to. Why part with 60/70/80k for a week when he can’t do anything.
ITKs, sad misfits that struggle for friends in the real world, but feel wanted if they post continuous crap.
very wrong – what a twat! had an idea about saving £6k(ish) therefore I’m gonna assume that is exactly right and Levy has the power to make all decisions that benefit Spurs without City saying a word!
What a cock – oh and now we’ve seen him at the Lane and announced as a signing – I wish I could see you now!
TMWNN, despite what Toddspur was saying earlier, and Kojac above, if Modric had played he’d have been tied until the last 16 stage. Kojac is alluding to the rules concerning those who play in Qualifying Rounds 1, 2 and 3, that do not apply to the play-offs, and do not apply if the team progresses to the Group Stage; see below.
Regulations for the UEFA Champions League
18.07: “As a rule, a player may not play in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, but not UEFA Super Cup) for more than one club in the course of the same season. Exceptionally, however, a player who has been fielded in the first, second or third qualifying rounds is entitled to play for another club as from the group stage, provided that his former club did not qualify for the group stage of either the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League.”
HOWEVER, at the start of the round of 16 (in the CL) three new players can be ‘subsequently registered’, by 1-Feb-12, one of whom can have played in the Europa League Group Stage.
Modric not in team tonight
Not really ITK more like Twitter. Brian Marwood confirmed this to reporters which have stated it on Twitter. Good news though.
Hang on sweetheart, you’re on the wrong blog. There is never exclusivity on news…
If ‘real’ people are also saying it happened – BRILLIANT!

So Modric is on strike then.
i bet he has been told to see where we are at Xmas so not playing would allow him to play for CL teams in January
I dont win many bets though
FFS! Would he be cup tied for the CL if he had played tonight or not.
Can anyone answer this for certain?
no he’d be alright as its a qualifying round
only platini really knows though
BBC and SSN say yes until Feb but I,m still sceptical; did you read the Uefa rules i sent you; what a mindfuck that is
