Good morning and welcome. And I’d like to extend my very best wishes to those now consoling the call centre staff at Virgin Media who this morning discovered that having Malcolm Tucker screaming at them would be like listening to the soothing song of a contented angel compared to me asking when they are fixing my broadband.
The Watford are giving it what for on the old terrace chants front. My favourite by a country mile has to be, ‘One man & his dog went to Monaco’. Other winners include:
“Paid all your taxes. You should have paid all your taxes” – “Whats that coming over the hill, is it the taxman? Is it the taxman?” – “One man and his dog went to Monaco…” – “Arry give us a bung, ‘Arry ‘Arry give us a bung.”
I like the FA Cup and more precisely I like to see us in the FA Cup. Being a fully paid up member of the Stuck Record Society I submit to the house that we should play a side worth paying good money to see and go out to beat the other lot.
Prediction? 0-1.
This video is for the Holocaust Memorial Day. If you have a minute, you might give it a click. I thought it was quite good.
We win the title….Arry’s first comment will be ” that was a stroke a luck an’ no mistake, cor lumme…I didn’t even no wot I woz a doin of…”
The comments coming out are plain embarrassing – can’t wait for the Watford songsters tonight they’ll have a field day.”You don’t know what you’re doing” has never been more true it seems.
I may decide to watch tonight’s match with the mute button on………..then again, me and Twitchy ain’t the best of buddies either, and there’s nothing wrong with a bit of harmless banter between supporters, eh?
I read an article which said ESPN are going to censor anything they deem out of order. Welcome to 1984.
‘Big Bother’ has been watching us for quite some time now………and it’s about to get a lot worse!
So just like the major US networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.) have been doing for decades, then…
Maybe it’s just me, but opening a bank account in a foreign country, and then not telling the very person you supposedly rely so heavily on for all your other financial activites seems rather an odd thing to do.
Then again, I’m sure we’ve all opened and forgotten about a bank account or two after one too many sangrias.
Does not look good but HR is being represented by the same brief who acted for Gerrard when he was acquitted of assault so maybe there is more mileage to this case.
I think Gerrard got off with the age-old “sorry… Should I not have done that?” defence. Never fails.
The judge has informed the jury that it’s likely to go into a 3rd week (bit like extra time), I wonder if it’ll go to penalties? and how severe will they be?
Dublin…You old cynic.
‘Allegedly’……….(come on TMWNN, get with the program :shifty: ).
@David.
Gerard was tried at Liverpool Crown Court. The PG Tips monkeys could have got him an accquital there.
Dublin…You old cynic.
That’s better, not sure why my first attempt ended above your poast, this internet webthingy is a bit tricky for us geriatrics.
If anyone fancies joining us for a beer we’re in the Oddfellows
If you’re going to the game and fancy a beverage come to the oddfellows. That’s where we’re currently congregating
And yes ive got a stutter/ crap phone
One for the Watford fans tonight….”you’re just a shit Lester piggott” other tax dodgers are available if required…Ken Dodd, Al Capone, Wesley Snipes etc.
