Good morning gentlemen of the press.
Our Arry’s held a presser this morning and courtesy of @BenPearceSpurs here are all the quotes fit to print.
On Pathe News Boy:
Scott Parker is ‘struggling’ to be fit to face Everton tomorrow. ‘It would be a surprise if he’s fit. In fact it’s very very doubtful’
On Sir Ledley King’s Hamstring:
‘He’s had a scan. It’s not too bad but he’s not going to be fit for tomorrow’.
On tapping up Transfers:
Redknapp was asked about Loic Remy, Demba Ba, Chris Samba and Junior Hoilett – and said there’s interest in all of them. “‘We’re not close to anything, we’re not desperate for anybody. There are good players here who aren’t getting a game”.

Rather amusing Yank ditty!
Yes. I am beginning to think that might yet get to understand this game.
Was that written by PNB’s posh american cousin who was educated at Eton and Oxbridge???
If that Pathe newsreader was still alive today, that is the exact way he would of describe our season.
Oh my Gwad!! Tottenham Hotstars! In England capital of London!.. no sorry they can barely grasp the English language and it is funny but dont think they’ll ever understand soccer
IT’S CALLED FOOTBALL!
Isn’t ‘soccer’ an English term?
What gets my goat is their insistence on using the third person singular when talking (or in this case writing) about teams:
It was robbed; Did it win?; It was much better than it, would all sound ridiculous.
STOP IT!
‘Soccer’ comes from Association Football, the emphasis being on the ‘soc’ in Association, so yes it’s an English term, but no one on this planet refers to the beautiful game as soccer apart from the the septics.
Why? Probably because ‘Football’ to them means those steriod-filled, Dynasty-style-padded, brick-sh*t-houses with helmets on falling over one another.
And whatever the septics say, goes……..no matter how ludicrous.
They can`t even understand Cheryl Cole-Tweedy.
Fairs fair, i can barely understand her! :silly:
Not that i’m really paying attention to what she says  ………
If Parker is not available should we play Pienaar or Livermore in his place ?
