Groundhog Day

Good Groundhog Day.

Where doe one start? Is it a blip? Is it is a the business end of the season suddenly sharpening the previously blunted knives, hatchets and broadswords of the opposition?

I’ve made my views clear on this endlessly and it’s so flippin’ obvious what the problem is I’m typing this like it’s something I’ve been practicing and fine tuning for weeks. I’ve also made the point, the serious point that it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to state how I feel.

Redschnapp’s has worked wonders. I wholly agree. I’m grateful. But that does not give him immunity from criticism. Again, for the umpteenth time, when I wrote the, ‘Gareth Bale The Ego Has Landed’ piece with a few notable exceptions I was told to roll it up and insert it in the orifice of mu choice.

The jig was officially declared in the last 20 minutes of yesterday’s game when the away supporters began singing ‘Gareth Bale, He Plays On The Left.’ I want to interject here that this chant must surely go down as the politest in sporting history.

In relation to an end to this misery; the FA like any confused and contrary child have stropped off saying that they will make their mind up when they feel like it and if anyone talks about them while they’re gone then that will make them very very angry indeed and everyone will be in trouble.

Arry is not managing the side any more. I’d be fascinated to hear a coherent counter argument. He said under oath he was, ‘a fantastic football manager’. I’ve witnessed several fantastic football managers in action in my time and I’ve never heard a the supporters reduced to singing postional tips to them before.

I hope we finish third, or even fourth or make it o the FA Cup Final. But again as I said earlier in the week, I truly wonder what we’ll actually do with any of this achievements.

I got you babe.

I need to finish some stuff for Hotspur’s Half Hour or ODM is going to up his hate mail rate. So analysis and ratings later on.

Thanks for your blog Mr H, you made me laugh when I needed it. I’d like to ask Harry, if it would be a good idea for Defoe to play at center half to hone, the defensive part of his game.

Thursday night football next season me thinks!

You know the wanderers will collect 3 points tomorrow and then the “mental strength’ issues we are suffering and the other lot are utilising will i’m afraid have quite allot to do with the end of the seasons positions.

“We we’re supposed to bloody beat Arsenal and Everton” this comment from your lot here sums it up for me. I guess your players believed the same crap from pundits and idiots out there, they were told by the media that they are superior to Arsenal in every department and you also have a genius of a manager even though he has won one trophy at the expense of ruining that club financially. You need to calm down a little it is not over, still a lot to play for. You may well finish 3rd or 4th but the players have to dig and scrap. Van the Fart must be one of the laziest players I have ever seen, he thinks he is Mr Real Madrid and does not tackle or put a shift in reminds me of Arshavin. It is not about pretty stuff all the time. If we beat Newcastle tomorrow it will make things very exciting indeed but by no means the end, the season ends in May.?

have refrained from posting until my calm had restored to normal levels

even before this run of fixtures I didnt think we would get anything out of them. also think we will get nothing form the chavs away. still think we will get third though. If we had played badly in our last few games i would be worried but apart from the arse game its just been the footballing gods having their way with us.

i think we will get third despite Redknapp and not because of him. as many have stated this is the weakest premier league for years, see champions league results, and was there for the taking. our current team, with HR at the helm, is no better than Jol’s lasagne team.

with our current players, a fantastic manager would have us challenging for the title. a fantastic manager would have our coveted centre mid Modrich playing centre mid. a fantastic manager would have our great left winger Bale playing left wing. Its really not that hard to figure out.

as for Redknapp for Engerlund derailing us ? I dont think so. He has said he wanted the job from ages ago before a ball was kicked this season. think thats an easy excuse.

a replacement for Harry ? dont know who he is. I just hope whoever we get plays the players where they are supposed to play. least that way if we lose we know its cos were not good enough. i hate losing and thinking its down to a tactical train wreck.

thanks for the memories Harry. Good luck with that Engerlung gig.

I hope 5th isnt as good as it gets for Spurs. lets hope you got that wrong aswell.
