Good evening.

There are very few certainties in life. You know the usual gags of course. Death, taxes, nurses…

But one certainty that we all too frequently overlook is the arrogance of stupid people. So this blog is dedicated to Arry Redschnapps. One of the most transparently stupid people the world has ever known.

Roy Hodgson has been formally approached by the FA.

Arry, thanks for the 3 points today but history will remember you as a bloke that once won an FA Cup with a no mark club.

Pilchard.

    OH NO!

    This presents the dilemma.

Would I rather Spurs qualify for the CL, but keep Redknapp on for another season.

    Or:

Not qualify for the CL in which case Redknapp would most likely be sacked.

I can honestly say I’m leaning towards the latter :-(

    • MalSpurs says:

      You’re an idiot

      • LLL says:

        Why’s that?

      • LLL says:

I would rather have a manager who respects the club, its fans, is not a self-serving idiot who doesn’t know when to stop the drivel floating from his mouth, who knows where to play his players and won’t stubbornly stick to tactics which don’t work, that won’t talk up the sale of his best players and undermine his chairman in the press every day, that won’t sign injury prone invalids. Yes, I’d rather not have to deal with such a manager at all than do so with the sweetener of another jaunt in the CL. I’d rather have a manager at Spurs who I can respect, you know?

        • Simon says:

Wouldn’t you say if we make the CL that his tactics worked reasonably well?

        • LLL says:

Hmm, well at the moment it’s a big ‘if’ isn’t it? ‘If’ he pulls it off, I will re-evaluate perhaps, but I don’t think I will be able to erase the bloody-minded tactical void that we passed through during our shite period, so similar to the one we had in the 2nd half of last season.

        • DaveYid says:

          Wouldn’t this re-evaluation be just thinly-veiled fickleness?

        • LLL says:

If you say so, personally I would much rather he wasn’t there at the start of next season and I’m actually willing to forsake a crumb of ‘success’ for that end. I don’t think that’s fickle, I just want the man gone for the good of the club.

In out in out shake it all about – Its the Harry Cokey !

  • JimmyT says:

I don’t really see how the FA think it’s acceptable to totally derail our season with deliberate inaction and statements from various individuals within the FA and then NOT give ‘Arry the job?! Disgraceful behaviour. Redknapp’s let us down but, more than anything, he and we have been played by the ever Manure/Arsen*l leaning bigwigs. We’ve been mugged off and for nothing.
Wouldn’t be a surprise if we discovered that Redknapp was told this morning, hence a good performance, the right team selection and the glum face after a win.

  • gee says:

Well said, Daveyid…..a cooment of logic and sense amid a sea of moronic tripe

    • Bruxie says:

      So you understood his post?

Or merely having a dig at the blog?

And your thoughts about ‘Arry, the FA and Hodgson are what, exactly?

      • DaveYid says:

His thoughts seem rational compared to some of the spew I’ve been reading on Facebook pages.

People should grow up as their i-want-a-trophy-now attitude is comparable to that of a young child.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and Sir Alex’s Manchester United powerhouse wasn’t built in a season.

In fact, losing all those matches before today makes me appreciate winning a little bit more than I did at the beginning of this season.

Even Wigan fans probably sound more grateful at the moment that they’re on course for survival in this league yet again.

Why have we suddenly developed this analysis model of:

If we win the match – Praise the players only.
If we lose the match – Blame the manager only
        ???

        • LLL says:

Because we have good players and a shit manager?

          Just a thought…

        • Mattspurs says:

But Harry’s off if the FA want him so where’s the legacy?

Harry isn’t interested in Spurs – he doesn’t care less what will be happening at WHL next season let alone 5/10/20 years time.

He came to us for the money, he’d go to Chelsea if they offered him more.

Just wait for him to leave and start slagging off Spurs fans as ungrateful.

        • DaveYid says:

Well if the players in recent games have been so good, what suddenly made them go off the boil when they had a 3rd place champions league spot and a finish above Arsenal to aim for??

The England Manager media circus can only be used as an excuse to a certain extent.

Read that from last year. See if the penny drops before next season. :winke:

        • LLL says:

          @MysteriousStranger

I remember reading that last year, brilliant article which hits every nail on the head. And reading it again, nearly a season on, it really does feel like ground hog day.

Arry’s quote about hoping Bayern would win the final ‘for Spurs fans’ was about as clear an indication that the fuckwit already had move on from Spurs, if not in body but in spirit. The audacity to grant us his best wishes like some sort of saggy faced Jim’ll fix it granting us a parting gift made my blood boil.

Well Karma is a bitch. This is a cunt who after 40years doing nothing in the game could have gone out with a bang but he thought he could get a better gig next door. Now the only thing banging will be the door slamming as he escorted off the premises.

In the words of Malcolm Tucker he should have been a man and got the fuck in, or fucked the fuck off months ago.

You have a foul mouth which wouldn’t be so bad,if you had points of any kind, sanwiched in between your getting off on being as foul mouthed as you can. You’re an imbicille.Too bad you support Spurs. They could do without fans like you
