If you thought that Sunday was going to aggravate your heart condition, be warned that it’s far more likely to give you a migraine.

This appears to have originated on Spurs Odious, but whoever took the time out to go through it all deserves a medal.

  • Manchester City, Manchester United and the 3rd placed team in the Premier League will enter the Champions League in the group stage* next season.
  • The 5th placed team in the Premier League will enter the Europa League in the play-off round next season.
  •  Liverpool will enter the Europa League in the 3rd qualifying round next season.

  • The 4th placed team in the Premier League will enter the Champions League in the play-off round next season.

  • Chelsea will enter the Champions’ League in the group stage next season.
  • The 4th placed team in the Premier League will take Chelsea’s FA Cup European qualifying spot and will enter the Europa League next season.
However it’s not yet clear whether they will take the same spot in UEFA’s Access List and start in the Group Stage or whether this honour will pass to the domestic Cup winner of another country and whether the 4th placed team have to start in the play-off round instead. UEFA will confirm this were this scenario to happen.
  • The 3rd placed team in the Premier League will enter the Champions League in the group stage* next season.

* It is not yet fully established whether 3rd place will secure a group stage seeding or have to play a qualifying round, should Chelsea win the Champions League.

Here is how it goes down, Arsenal draw 1-1, we win 3-1. Chelsea win champions league. I buy new trousers.

Bluescum as Champions of Europe… no, thanks…

I’d rather see Arsenal having (and failing) to qualify for the CL Group stages…

    It’s nerve shredding.

    Cannot wait.

In a nutshell all we have to do is better Newcastle’s result.

On paper you would say they have the tougher draw, but we are Spurs, who never fail to ruin a good opportunity

    • LLL says:

We actually only have to equal Newcastle’s result.

      You are spot on, otherwise…

        Actually…….

Newcastle have to win in order to finish above us

They can draw and we can lose and on goal difference we will still be above them.

I cant see Newcastle beating Everton simply because its the last home game at Goodison and they will be up for it, same with West Brom.

I think West Brom 1-1 Arsenal, Everton 2-1 Newcastle, only for us to mess it up and draw 1-1

Let’s see which set of players looks more determined on Sunday. “Go out, run about a bit and enjoy yourselves, boys”: Harry or Martin?

Christ – I had thought as I got older supporting the Spurs would be getting a little bit easier.Lets hope with 20 mins to go ‘Arry does not have to go to plan B ( he doesn’t know what that is either now – it used to be lump it up to Crouch and hope Defoe is not offside)to get the win.

    • Chrispurs says:

Crouch, has just been voted Stoke’s player of the year; that says it all, on so many levels.
