Before he went with cheatski, he was being touted as the next Jose M. But then we’ve had the next Hoddle, the next Zidane, the next England manager (sorry ‘arry, couldn’t resist that one) etc, etc.
Maybe this one will be the real deal, it’s worth a laugh, I mean a punt.

don’t forget, we had the new David Beckham and still have the once touted New Ronaldinho.

AVB worth a punt? Not on your life or mine. If he is appointed manager, there is a group of us who will not buy our planned season tickets. He doesn’t belong in the English game. That would be the most insane appointment ever ,and based on what? He knows how to wear a mac? F OFF AVB..F OFF Levy .May as well call the company EUNICH becasue hiring AVB WOULD EMASCULATE US.

Just becouse he failed at Chelsea does not mean he will at spurs, you’ll see coys!

Hey how about Mick McCarthy? Just becasue he failed at ….. ( fill in the club) doesn’t mean it couldn’t work at Spurs.
AVB is not a man manager. He isn’t partuclarly liked in the game and I have that on very reliable authority. He’s only 34 years old.Right there are 3 reasons right off the bat,why if this rumour is true it’s insanity and bound to fail.
The whole situation that Levy andLewis have put our club in is beyond all comprehension. We were moving in the right direction and then they decided to play politics.Thts how much those pricks give a damn about the supporters

I really am 50/50 on this one Essexian. Half of me thinks it would be a terrible appointment and half of me thinks it would be an inspired appointment.

God knows what the other half of me thinks!!

TBH Phil, I’m walking around with nappy on, absolutely crapping myself, laughing manically one moment- then talking to my dogs (who fully understand all’s not well, having a 2nd sense an’all), the next. One of my dogs think we’re mental for not having someone in place already and cannot understand why the sudden urgency to get rid of Harry, the other wanted to rip his arse to sheds, because he’s a cnut..me, I’m hiding under the kitchen table until the voices in my head stop disagreeing with one another and I can focus once more

You must be joking, If Di Matteo hadn’t taken over at Chelsea when he did, they would have been lucky to end up in 16th place under AVB never mind 6th. I don’t know what Levy is thinking of does he want to see us in the championship ?
