Good afternoon.
Yesterday got into a spot of trouble on Twitter for having the affront to Tweet ***** and ask him to stop nicking a salary under false pretenses from us. I don’t make a habit of approaching celebs on there. Well I called David Baddiel a middle class beardy. And I asked Claudine Keane if she and Bob had ever considered a suicide pact …ah hold up, it might be me.
Hugo Lloris then.
Of late, I get an increasing sense of ‘intolerance’ from Spurs fans. The demand for vending machine / Pot Noodle speeds isn’t just exclusive to transfers. Some still have this bizarre belief that we ought to be beating everyone 5-0, come what may. Bless.
Jean-Michel Aulas, Lyon’s president appears every bit as raunchy as our boy. One would have to say, ‘why ever wouldn’t he?’
“Unless he really wants to leave, he’ll be playing for Lyon next season. He was decisive during the penalty shootout.
The best present we could give to the supporters would be to find a way to keep him and that’s what we’re going to do.
Tottenham had made contact via some agents at the beginning of the season but since then we haven’t received a concrete offer, so I don’t think they’re willing to make the offer that would enable Hugo to join them.
He wasn’t against it, but it’s been going on for too long now.”
Tell me about it, love.

New york times article on AVB helping a bunch ofkids in NY play
In a world populated by football mercenaries, this is fantastic to see and is just one of the many reasons why I love this club.
Good to see someone edited this a wee bit. Yesterday I read it and it said ‘barely missed relegation’ where it now reads ‘barely missed champions league qualification.’ It also comically referred to us as ‘The Spurs’ in every single sentence.
I read somewhere that the “new wave of tactics” doesn’t really require a striker but three attacking midfielders who can score.
BUT going by the free flow of goals so far, I think at least two who know the general direction of the net are required as well as Defoe. Kane and Cool have promise but so did I at 12 and the longer it takes to find one who probably WONT speak english, the longer it will take to click.
Much as Berbatoss annoyed me I would have him back on a GBPs per goal contract as that should motivate him (50k/goal only?) being an eastie.
Michelle Interesting point about the striker. Will have to read up exactly how it works.
Ronnie that NYT writer doesn’t have a clue..read it all..has Avb PINCHING A Harry line.
Didnt read it all.Just good to see the exposure for Tottenham in the States.
What’s this noise about strikers? Spain didn’t play with a man up front and they won the euros. I say scrap the striker idea and deploy 4-6-0. In harry we trust!
HH,
I have to observe that the picture of Lord Coe in the previous blog shares the same default expression as a small marsupial bear common to this part of the world….. Lord Ko-ala perhaps?
