Adebayor is not ‘done’, but the man himself is really keen to be part of next season’s campaign with us. The change of coach hasn’t effected his position as he is keen to prove he’s worth a first team shirt under ‘whoever’ , which is superb.

IMO he is a total waste of money as ANY deal has to compensate him for his 170k/week at MC and we can afford two better strikers for that much money.

We are now linked to almost every decent player in Europe and South America, now I realise that 95% of this is rubbish but if we manage to land the other 5% then we’re on a roll.
Sure the roller coaster ride with that last chap was amazing at times and demoralising at others but I have great optimism that DL and AVB will build a dynasty over the next 10 years and motivate this club from top to bottom. Young players will flourish and progress through the ranks. The Academy will set the standard others could only dream of.
I am more excited about this coming season than I have been for over 25 years, action in the transfer window this early is virtually unheard of, we usually wait until the last minute and give the newbies no chance to gel.
DL has torn up the old script and we are now working to a masterpiece, wake me up somebody.
