10 O’Clocker: And We’re Off!

Good evening.

836,357 people have assured me this evening that I need to lose weight and brush up my social skills a bid has been accepted for long term Chicken Badge allergy sufferer Luka Modric.

If this is the case then goodbye and good riddance. Ooh …’nasty Harry’ I hear you say. Well, not really. My bitter sentiments don’t get borne out of boredom. Chancers like Luka and Dimitar could have stayed where they where and been an integral part of something good. Something worthwhile.

But when we are dealing with these type of half men …who spiritually come from a place so low that even the rats are hunchbacked …what can one expect?

Will a deal on Modders include a Noel Edmond’s Saturday Swap Shop stylee player plus cash deal? I sincerely doubt it.Will this spark a flurry of Tottingham shaped transfer activity? I sincerely doubt it. But Levy & Co are 100% working overtime…

Dunno, still finding Modric’s transformation to the ultimate Spurs hate figure difficult – he looks like a harmless little fraggle, it’s like shooting Bambi. This transfer has dragged though, hope it’s an ok deal for us…time to move on

or perhaps he had real talent and realised levy just borkers money into the club rather than spending any of his own. Maybe Luka thought Levy is full of shite bangs on about this and that but nothing changes. Maybe when he saw that Bentley and Jenas were picking up money for FA because the dirctors wives like them, he thought Im off I can earn more money in a better team with less bullshit attached.

I feel like all the kids in the playground are getting new toys and iv been told my PS3 is getting sold but its ok as im getting some marbles to play with. This M’villa fella i hear has scored zero in two seasons and had about 1 assist!! Id seriously push the boat out for Hulk and someone Like Llorente, Hulk can play off the right him and bale providing pace

    So heres the dealio…
We got rid of Harry who in my opinion would have guarenteed us top four!
We’ve taken a gamble on an unproven talent…might work out, might not…but if reports are correct and Dawson is going to be our new captain then we will be playing a high line with:
    Friedal
    Walker Dawson Kab/vet A&E
    Jeanas/Hudd Sandro
    Azza VDV/SIG Bale
    Defoe

Huummm, Friedal and Dawson do not inspire confidence in this high line. And that current side does not look like a top 4 side!

CptCaveman the words “in my opinion” stand out in your post, that’s why you’re not the Manager/Head Coach.

I know he isn’t fit now but PNB was player of the season last time out right? If we don’t sign a first choice striker there will be fans ripping up their season tickets so I’d expect someone to come in, probably Adebayor. You’re right though, keeper situation is terrifying with potential AVB tactical changes

The Trout actually effectually got rid of himself.

You really favour Dawson over Kaboul. Dawson is pony in comparison to Kaboul. I would have let Dawson go made Kaboul Captain and had Caulker in the squad.

  • paddtspurs says:

Ah well more money for levy to invest in his bank account you can be sure if we got 30mil for him avb will have 10mil to spend levy out levy out !

  • poolespur says:

Lets face it our underlying problem is size lets face it we need a bigger one and untill we get a larger one we’re punching above our weight. A Stadium if any of you dont get my drift. As regards to Levy, just look at the jokers at other clubs, he has made mistakes, and perhaps AVB could be the biggest of all, but he stands a better chance of doing well here rather than Chelski, but lets give the guy a chance, lets face we now have no alternative but to get behind him.

    • TMWNN says:

It’s Levy who needs to be giving AVB a chance by buying a striker or two.

      • Ziege says:

Absolutely. If this season turns into Ramos 2.0, it’s down to this Berbatov Redux window.

Seems to me that this season could be utterly magical or a total trainwreck and it hinges on getting strikers that fit the new system. Now would be a good time!
