Don’t know why everyone is so down on this guy ’cause he likes to party. Some of our best from Greavesie to Gazza liked to tie a few on – don’t remember many complaints about their performances in our white shirt!
Except those legends you mentioned actually put the shift in on the pitch when given the opportunity regardless of how many they poured down their neck the night before Gio has failed to do that ever

To be fair he wasn’t really given a chance “in the hole” which is his favourite position and we haven’t really motivated him which at his age usually makes all the difference. In six months he leaves for free. Pity.
give him the chance, play him more regularly and he will perform well for spurs.
The ‘kid’ just needs a chance to play in a system that suits him (i.e NOT 4-4-2).I hear Spurs fans talking about Kane,Townsend and even Coubilly yet Gio is a million miles ahead of them.
At the very least he would be great to have on the bench in the PL and playing games in the cups.
