Good afternoon.
The headline isn’t sarcastic. I expect a number of you expected to see a tale recounting one of the first team MMS’ing a snapshot of his nether regions to an Only Way Is Essex star (Ooops sorry Jake, me and my big mouth).Dempsey, Adebayor, Dembélé and Vertonghen. All clever cookies.
Now these quotes from Ben Pearce talking to Hugo Lloris in the Hornsey Journal.
I know I banged on about the Daily Mail but they made stuff up and I’ll be damned if I’ll put up with it. No, Hugo strikes me a fantastic addition. Bright, talented and undoubtedly a fantastic heir to Brad’s well kept throne.
“I think Tottenham has a great project for the future and I think I will have my place, but now it’s a period of adaptation I have the time to adapt with my new team and I think everybody in Tottenham thinks the same thing.
“Will I play on Sunday [against QPR]? I don’t know, the coach will take his decision. I think we work very well with the other goalkeepers. For me it’s a new thing, I am discovering a lot of things like with the new stadium. I’m here, I give all my best, I want to work and I want to play but now the coach will take his decision about me. I will just work and we will see.”
“It’s good but I would prefer to win with my team so I think in the next game we will want to win and to continue this competition with a good thing, I didn’t have to take any balls, but we had to concentrate and we did that so we have a clean sheet and that’s important for the confidence – but we haven’t won. We are happy but we want to win the next game.
“I think it was a good game, but we were not lucky. We had maybe we had one or two opportunities to win and the referee has taken another decision, so we respect this. But I think Lazio is a good team, they came to defend and they defended very well so we want to take three points in the next game.”
“Only let your watering pot be filled with good deeds and words.” Fair enough ! Are the words from him or managed by the club. Well I give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he becomes a legend :)
AVB has job keeping players happy. He seems to be doing it better than the last bloke

Turd burglary?, moi?. Sorry
gaysguys but i don’t bat for the other team- not that there is anything wrong with it, whatever floats your boat and all that!My comment is awaiting moderation apparently- that’s the naughty step for me then!
Wow Sandro, Dembele, Siggy look awesome in midfield, height, power, aggression and speed like we have never had.
Caulker, Walker, and Vertongen all look great in defence.
Defoe and Lennon…FFS I dident know they had it in them, especially Defoe, he is actually looking “dare I say it” worldclass.
We still have Ade & Dempsey yet to make a real impact….
This team already looking better than the last by some margin.
Dam and I forgot all about Loris….
I’m quietly exited :daumen:
Really impressed with how Lloris did things on Thursday and his all round body language. Impressed with Caulker and just about everybody else. In fact generally – very impressed and excited.
Hope”same old Spurs” is gone to the shitter.
