Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all monitoring Vinicius Junior’s contract situation at Real Madrid, according to reports from TEAMtalk.
The Brazilian forward has entered the final year of his current deal at the Bernabeu, leaving his future at the club genuinely uncertain heading into the summer window.
Real Madrid previously tabled a contract proposal worth in excess of £400,000 per week in an attempt to tie down the 25-year-old on a long-term basis.
However, Vinicius has not accepted those terms, reportedly holding out for a salary package closer to £500,000 per week, a demand Los Blancos have so far refused to meet.
With negotiations stalled between the two parties, Real Madrid are now preparing to reopen talks following the conclusion of Vinicius’ World Cup campaign with Brazil.
Should an agreement fail to materialise in the coming weeks, Real Madrid are reportedly ready to cash-in on him this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing next year.
Vinicius, valued at around £119m by Transfermarkt, has attracted serious interest from multiple directions, with Saudi Arabian clubs determined to sign him and Bayern Munich closely monitoring his situation.
Despite those suitors, reports indicate that Vinicius would be open to a move to the Premier League, with intermediaries close to the player already making contact with several English clubs.
Arsenal’s interest stems from inconsistent performances from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard last season, leaving the Gunners keen to add a quality left-sided forward this summer.
Manchester United are looking to bolster their attacking options to support Matheus Cunha after securing their place in next season’s Champions League, making Vinicius an appealing target.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are hunting forward reinforcements following Mohamed Salah’s departure as a free agent, having already brought in Victor Munoz from Osasuna earlier this summer.
Chelsea and Manchester City have also been kept informed about Vinicius’ situation, meaning up to five Premier League heavyweights could potentially compete for his signature if he becomes available.
