I’m not sure I enjoyed that.

Fifteen minutes of public humiliation followed by having to watch a loved one emerge from a coma.

It gives me no pleasure to refer to my last blog and mumble under my breath, I told you so. This is a territory usually occupied by w*ankers. But the reality is, whatever Arry’s tactical intentions were or were not, the weakest element in the equation was undoubtedly Tottenham’s defense.

Here are my ratings. Tell me yours.

Gomes 2

Was it a penalty? Yes it was. Daft challenge. Amateur night from the Octopus.

Hutton 3

Looked unfit. Off the pace and … Hungover?

Gallas 3

I overlooked his murky past as he was a top notch footballer. I was done. Anonymous. Again.

Bassong 3

Another Invisible Man. Not the required standard.

A&E 5

He did little wrong, he was simply outplayed.

Azza Blud 6

A game where duff crosses cost the most. He’s not on form.

Jenas 6

Not a bad shift. I may be coming close to giving him a break.

Huddlestone 4

King of the ball watchers.

Bale 10

He scores 3 when we’re 4-0 down. Bar turning water into wine, what more could he have done?

Modders – beyond me why he was the one to come off. Should have been Hudd.

Crouch 4

Just didn’t achieve anything.

Palacios 5

Efficient but no huge impact

Keane 5

Another not very super sub.

Cudicini 6

What a horrible game to be hurled into.

Gomes 1 – Just picked ball out of net and then got sent off for panicing

Hutton 2 – Out of position too many times in the first half, what is his job?

BAE 3 – Still struggling away from home where we need to be more solid, will be good again back at the lane

Gallas 2 – Worse centre back performance I have seen for quite sometime from someone with the wealth of experience that he has, how many times did he fail to deal with Eto in the first 30mins!!

Bassong 4 – the Better of the two CB, at least he didnt get caught flat footed

Huddlestone 3 – Well of the pace last night, if anything he was well put in his place, didnt stop the supply line and when u have Snejder in that hole u have to stop them playing it so easily through the middle, worse game in 3yrs, looks tired

Jenas 7 – Apart from Bale was Spurs best player, box to box, good tackles to help spurs get the first, following up on 2nd balll quickly for 2nd goal and was the fitter midfielder in the engine room

Modric 6 – based on 8 mins of football in which a minute or so was used up watching Inter score the first, he didnt have a bad game, little passes here and there, fouled early on after dropping shoulder, ready for weekend

Lennon 6 – getting back to the form we know he has, double teamed at times but still managed to get balls into box and crouch should have scored after Lennon beat two men down wing to put in his best cross of the night

Bale 9 – 3 goals, drive and class, one thing stopped him getting top marks and that was freekicks were let down!!

Crouch 2 – time to go, looked out of depth, lacking form and confidence, just let him have the first ball we will the 2nd is too much predictable for opponents, looked better once he went off the field, never held it up and the miss in the first half was shocking!!

Wilson – 6 should have started, worked hard when he came on for hudd

Keane – 5 buzzed about and better at lone striker role imo then crouch

Cudicini 5 – clumsey and still number 2 as the 3rd choice is shocking!!

Harry H.Crist we need to calm down a bit. Firstly seeing one of Bentez Teams run round in packs of three chasing the ball and a 37 year old mugging our Virgin Defence is normal for one of Benitez Teams. This was Liverpool in stripes I warned my fellow fans about Inters energy levels would dramatically rise and in the first Half they never disappointed. Make no bones about it if the score had have bean 2-0 Inter would not have slowed down like they did . Your marks Harry H are a bit harsh on a team with a defence who have played twenty mins together and played like strangers all three goals came from a defence who where static and not in tune with each other this comes with playing has a unit for months and some times years. Lets take Crouch he is a giant who knocks balls down to his team mates his main strengths are not Holding the ball up and the one person who plays and feeds of his knock-downs was missing the Van Benitez knew this and isolated him . Lennon he made Bales goal beat his man when he got the ball he beat two markers twice hit a great ball to crouch who jumped 9ft when the goal is 8ft and he should have scored .Huddlestone sprayed some great balls to Bale and Lennon but Inter had so many men back the area was crowded Defoe would have bean there quicker than a lonely Croch. Huddlestone missed stnkyvitch tackle but Cudicini looked like he had just fell of his bike and never moved Huddlestone and Jenas where minus Modric Cudicini made some great saves the only fault was he caused the second save himself by not catching the ball in the first place he his going to be a liabilaty in the game at home because he cant dive quick at full stretch and he his rubbish at the commanding his area. Kaboul would have bean a better defender with Bassong because Gallas his not fit for this level of football. You can only mark our team on there second half performance because we lost Gomes Modric with a virgin defence showed Harry H your marks where harsh take Snieder there goalkeeper Lucio and Eto and then mark Inter our equivalent Defoe Van Gomes throw in a penalty etos offside goal there fourth and we performed miracles win win 45 mins 3-0 Inter where normally Energised in the second Half because at 4-0 they thought they where safe and there Tempo showed .I know Benitez because living twelve miles from his ex Team Liverpool Inters Tempo was expected and i new they would come out firing early just like Liverpool did when they beat Spurs 2-0 at Anfield last year . Why do you think he blamed the sacking of his Medical staffs sacking for Liverpoolnot winning the title last year and because of what i no he was right so Harry when you downgrade Spurs make sure you take Benitez medical staff into consideration and i will then agree with your marks. love to Spurs and Harry H always DAVSPURS
