Great old line from Yes Minister when Jim Hacker says,‘ One minute you’re out out of your office, the next you’re out of office.’

Arry is an old cove and will be secretly smiling at how his fortunes against Arsenal went from being furiously despised at half time to being the Second Coming just forty five minutes later.

Whatever took place in the Arsenal away dressing room at half time, the latent talent in just about every player was unlocked and our lot came out and did ’em.

I haven’t watched Arsenal for a while and I have to say that I can fully understand now how they dominate the wrong end of the Fair Play League. The second goal was due to am imbecilic handball. They need to wise up and fast.

Look, I’m no more obsessed with these things than you, but it’s bad form to espouse all this ‘technically gifted’ rubbish if by the same token you are indulging in cheap fouls and play acting like that mong spaz cad Nasri.

Anyway, feck ’em. As they head to the Batmobile, we’re off to the ratings!

Gomes 7 Redeemed himself as (did many) in the second half.

A&E 5 Like weather. Dull with wet patches.

Gallarse 9 He was on a mission. Mission accomplished.

Raging Kaboul 7 Intelligent goals from a much improving chap. Well done, mate.

Begbie 4.5 I’d like to flog him. And then, sell ‘im. In that order.

Azza Blud  5.5 Back to square one again. Meh.

Jenarse 7 Another focused performance. More please.

Modders 6.75 Blossomed a little as our shape changed.

Bale, Bale, Bale 7.35 Great players change matches and define seasons.

VDV 7.36 Oozed class once the system/shaped changed.

Crazypavinchenko 6 Didn’t get into it really. But terribly nice hair.

Defoe 6.28 A one man feel good factor. Welcome home son.

3MP 6.29 Disrupted a wonky back four.

The Sarge 6.27 A credit in the time that he had.

Actually, did anyone see what happened to Begbie just before the 2nd goal? He was holding his ribs and I couldn’t see what happened on any angle in the coverage?

I suppose you have to look at HH’s ratings based on both halves. For that reason most of those marks are fair. But I would give BAE and Hutton more credit. They really worked a shift in the second half. I certainly think Hutton has redeemed himself this season and would not want us to flog him in either sense of the word.

If Begbie and A&E worked a full shift, they’d have more cans of Tennents on the shelves than I could pack – and that is nearly 4. The back isn’t so good anymore – though as a Full Back … do we ever get any Empty backs or isn’t the depsoit worth it?

it is absurd to give Titan AE a low mark. his ability to find bale over the top with a delicate chip has led to NUMEROUS chances and goals since january. he has a superb left foot, the second best on the team. he’s an excellent tackler.

his weakness is he seems to be high a lot. on the good cali weed that i get out here from the medical dispensaries. i’m thinking OG Kush. i’m a hell of a player myself and i know when i’m high i sort of start thinking about butterflies or whatever and next thing you know…there goes a forward.

    INT: Titan AE’s head:
” oh yeah, that. why am i here? i’m doing something…qu’est-ce que c’est? RIGHT SHIT I’M A LEFT BACK FOR A FOOTBALL TEAM. should probably run. fuck it. i blew this one already so…maybe gomes will sort me out. no? shit. i should get to the post…oh. too late. god i need a bong hit.”

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC) has criticised a lack of public funding support for the proposed £450m redevelopment of its White Hart Lane ground.

According to chair Daniel Levy, the Premier League club had not been awarded any public cash to progress the plans, which have been revised at a cost of £50m.

Levy said that Arsenal Football Club had received assistance to develop a new stadium at Ashburton Grove, while the revamp of Wembley Stadium also secured funding support.

KSS-designed plans to redevelop White Hart Lane have been approved by Haringey Council, but THFC is also in contention to take over the Olympic Stadium post-2012.

Levy said: “This is a development with the potential to kickstart regeneration in one of the most deprived boroughs in London. Yet no regeneration monies are available to it.”
