Apologies to anyone interested, I ran into a small problem making my next blog.

This is not a server thang rather me converting some really really dandy 8mm footage into something I could embed here.

My tech guy just has to ‘enhance HH’ in the am, then we’ll be golden. It’s small. but rather perfectly formed.

    In the trenches – HH

well we got the toughest draw Milan,at least we’ve already been to the san siro should be a cracker of a tie,

i expect us to roll over the villa with a fit vdv and fresh bale on boxing day, this is why we don’t need a winter break in england because you never know when the freeze will come, they are getting their break now

the yearly picture of a bladdered sir ledley

why do we even need parker or van bommel both not needed or good enough

    RIP Ralph

Not saying because i’m a Dutchie..but it’s absolute nonsene to declare v Bommel wouldn’t be good enough for Spurs..The guy is world class, and really gets games going..Losing simply ain’t a word is his vocabulary..
He’s not that dirty as you guys all are claiming either, as a matter of fact, you have to be dirty to win this much..100% sure that BCFC wouldn’t have equalised with MvB on our side..

I beg to differ. The winter break is not so much a matter of countering freezes as it is of providing players (and management) with a guaranteed fortnight off. In so far as most of the European leagues provide that and the EPL does not we are at a disadvantage.

Probably will get into hot water with this next comment, re. player acquisitions in January/next summer. At the root lies the question of short to mid term financial resources, and hence the new stadium and its location. If the 5 mile move away from the Lane (much as I might regret it for sentimental/historical reasons) really boils down to significant savings (hundreds of thousands of quid) and real improvements in parking/public transport/access (with the same state of the art, ahead of its times, design) I think Levy and company would be just plain nuts not to go ahead with it. Think only of the reduction in debt service and of the increase in flexibility it would provide for salaries, transfer fees, etc. Against that kind of a background one might go for the short term security of a 30 plus Parker or van B and a quality striker (why not Carroll) and hope to lock in a top EPL finish, the FA Cup, or even the Champions final…

      In my humble opinion.

    Bale on the left +

    Lennon on the right +

    Carroll in the middle =

    Hat trick every game.

No brainer. Go get him Harry.
