Despite being acknowledged as the planet’s numero uno Tottenham blogger, it gives me little pleasure to share with with football fans this disturbing snap of a man regarded by millions dozens of devoted vaguely interested Arsenal fans as a modern day legend getting some textual ecstasy.

It seems that most of the more pragmatic, analytical opinions agree with the Olympic Park option, and the more emotional reactions side with the new WHL. Not sure what that says. I am still in favour of the OP in terms of prestige, lack of debt and future success, cos I tasted success for the first time in years and want more. But the territorial arguments are not lost on me nor the historic attachment to the drum that is N17. Many people feel similarly split I’m sure, and the longer this goes on the more upsetting the whole thing becomes, it’s regrettable that we are having to question ourselves and decide between these values. I don’t think any other big club has had to go through this one and I pray that it doesn’t end up leaving a deep split in our ranks which can’t heal.

This time next week the decision between us and West Ham should have been made, though I’m not convinced that it will, with neither option being fully acceptable to Joe Public who has funded everything so far.

The bottom line is that it’s an unlucky combination of circumstances that we find ourselves in, needing a new ground just when money is tight and the powers that be need someone to rescue the future of their poorly planned Olympic adventure.

      Wise, wise words.

I am seriously split on this whole issue. I love WHL and the memories (that I will always carry with me). I saw some of the all time greats play there, Greaves, Gilly, Stevie P, Hoddle and many others. I would like nothing more than us to remain there in a stadium fitting for the club that we are.

I have spoken to many Yids over the last few weeks. Initially, it was almost total aversion to Stratford and what it meant for our club. Gradually, over the last few weeks, more and more are softening their anti Stratford views. OK, my guess my guess is still only a bout a third open to discussion about a move. But they are open. And open is far better than dismissal without actually looking into the options.

It’s like the general election day when The Sun says Vote Labour or Vote Tory or Vote Pre-Op Transexual Linda, and the uninformed do what they are told.

I don’t want that. I want to make an informed decision.

We should be asking why Newham Council are offering the Spam eaters a £60 million loan and Haringey have got their hands in our pockets.

I can’t see us getting the nod for Stratford anyhow. Regardless of what’s sustainable financially it won’t be given to us as there’s too many political agendas.

  • for fucks sakes, :pirat: im sick of all this stratford talk, look were movin whether ya like it or not,get used to it,im more interested in the team, anybody got any creditable transfer news? :silly:
