Great to see Woodgate actually back playing again. What a player he is and so sad to have had such a terrible run with injuries. Just hope he can go out on loan and get fully fit, then hopefully get back in our 25 next season. Would guess QPR might be a good loan for him. Obviously we are looking at moving out the usual suspects but it is so difficult to find buyers. PSB on £65k per week , who would pay that at the moment?
Sunderland will now need a forward but would either of PSB or Pav want to go to the frozen north. Would rather we moved Crouch out than Pav but Harry would not do that.
Plenty of other PL clubs need forwards… Foolem, Brum, Wolves, WHAM, Wigan, but with them all fighting relegation why would any of ours move to them? Others like Everton, Newcastle, Blackburn, Bolton even Liverpool do not have much money if any available. Tricky times indeed.
Think Pienaar is an excellent buy. Proven in EPL, great pace and lets face it Bale and Len need a rest sometime, and we need pace to cover them. Both Krankie and Bentley are too slow for our type of play. Would imagine Krankie might also sadly move on now… perhaps Liverpool !
