Truth is in the middle..wasn’t Daws’ best of days, but had a couple of livesaving blocks in the last minutes..
Hutton was very poor for their goal, I like him going forward but he’s not a good defender (pretty much the opposite of Charlie, who’s also a bit slow). Hopefully Walker will prove he can do both well for Villa and solve this probelm for next season.
Cuddles didn’t cover himself in glory with the goal either. I always worry when he’s in net and I’d like to see us upgrade here as well.
Jenas has played much better this season, neither him or Sarge have made the position theirs. Hopefully Thud will be back soon. Sandro’s had the odd game, he needs this season getting used to English football and shouldn’t be rushed in.
Don’t like seeing Bale at LB which means we need a backup LB desperately.
Big news, we need a striker! I honestly don’t know who we could sign. I think Suarez is a bit small and a big gamble coming from the Dutch league. Forlan is also small and not playing that well (plus he’s old). Rossi always looks lively but again I couldn’t see him playing up top with VDV in the EPL. Benzema could be a good shout, if Real would sell or loan. E bay whore would be ideal in terms of ability but he’s a nut job only plays when he wants, not sure City would sell to us. Ruud from hamburg? he’s still banging them in, very old though! I’m reaching here, who else is there Fabiano? not convinced? anybody else? Carroll? he’d cost a ton and has had one decent season in the league.
Finally Piennaar will be a decent player I think, but it’s going to take time for him to bed in.
Daws was terrible today.. OK he played a few good long passes but his defending was woeful. We missed the Benny and Bale show. Benny has is knockers ( and so do I boys I give them a good shake right now, get face in here big COCKeral, where are you whwn Helen needs you) but he was missed badly today, JJ needs to play another game becausefootball is not suited to him. Lennon got plenty of the ball and scored a great goal, I thin Lennon has a good shot him and wish ne would come insid more ( I like it when he comes inside} because when he crosses from wide it’s shite to be honest. Pinear to early to judge but was piss poor today. I want to see Sandro given a go. If we don’t sign a big classy striker there is no way we are going to finish top four.
