I think friedel is an ok signing, he’s got a couple of years left in him and is a top keeper. Gomes will either buck his ideas up or leave, we just can’t keep giving goals away like he did last season.
I think gomes will be gone myself, he’s appears to be a fragile character and friedel’s arrival will either galvanise him or break him. More likely the latter which is a shame as when he’s on top form he’s one of the best I’ve seen. :-(
