But I would quiery the eternal bridesmaid, Anderton – who’s “sicknote” monicker was a bit of a myth. He had his moments but better than Azza-blud? VDV? Piennar? Modric? Huddleston? Sandro? Bale? I’d put him alongside the forgotten Ar5ena1 reject who couldn’t buy a game these days. No side was ever going to win anything with Anderton in it – he was too nice.
