Good Morning,
From left field or certainly les transferts.com at least comes the news that Tottingham Hotspurs have made enquiries for Mounir El Hamdaoui. Hang on H, isn’t that…?
Yep. The man that never was.
A funny old game indeed Saint. Mo’ signed for Spurs under the auspices of BMJ in 2005. But never played a Premier League game. I confess I had to look him up. He featured in the Peace Cup. He apparently scored in friendlies against Northampton Town and Aldershot Town and not lonf after was loaned out to Derby County for his sins.
Leaving Spurs like many before him was the best thing to happen him. A season with Eridivisie’s Willem II and then his current home Ajax have generated 63 goals in 106 appearances.
Now you know I’m not Statty, but even I found it interesting to look at what all these goals amounted to. Well he was top scorer in the Eridivisie in 2008-2009 and the man to beat him to that spot the following season was a bloke called Luis Suarez.
At first glance a rumour perhaps to induce groans, but I’ve been emotionally scarred by those Leandro clips and would happily give Mo’ a second look based on his Dutch form.
Special thanks to highly esteemed reader, RalphCoatesHair for sending in this little gem. A thing of beauty. Ralph wants to know what the trophy in the foreground is. First correct answer wins a lock of Terry Venables’ hair (still attached to his head).
I cannot get my head round this
I want this boy teamed up with Pav.
Now.
Not Pav, he can’t control a ball, can’t hold it up, can’t win headers, can’t bring others into play and can’t score an easy chance. With him in the side the opposition get the ball back to quickly to attack us again.
HURUMPH….
I think this could be pretty good. At least let me put it this way: I can’t see us enticing too many better than him.
Leandro: Unproven. Wickham??? All gone quiet there – and he’s a kid. Drogba? Can’t see him coming. Adebyor: see Drogba.
I think we can safely forget about the £30m+ Spanish mob too.
Oh, I also head about this promising young mexican chap. His name escapes me but he had a cracking world cup…
Who you give head to should be private and confidential! :)
NEVER…Blow and tell thats what i say!
He’s a real good striker, but…the guy also is a real pain in the ass..Anyway, good goalscorer..
Couldn’t be any worse than Berbasulk or that Welshman we were supposed to be interested in a while back. :shocked2:
He’s probably worse, i tell you…
I cannot believe anyone could be worse than Bellamy. He even argues with himself when there are no ‘team mates’ to argue with.
Trust me..pretty fair chance the guy will eventually mean trouble..
You heard it here..
Looks like the dogs bollocks and agree 100% with Pav they could be great! Great rumor!!!
