Well it’s been suggested to me this morning that this is only Plan B.

I don’t know how much the special case has earned over the years but even if he took a pay cut to come to us surely he wouldn’t starve. Hoddle for head coach, he may have been a bit bigheaded when he was with us last time (I think it was more to do with pleat wanting to be manager & Goddle becoming manager of his boyhood club too soon) he’ll play attractive footy cause that’s the only way he knows how to play, the Tottenham way.
