I am over the moon with the stance that Levy has taken. But somehow I don’t think this is the end of it. What if Modric puts in a transfer request?

Based on Levy’s comments, it is rejected.
He has however only said he won’t be sold this Summer so expect a re-run of this episode in January 2012.

I think Levy has played a trump here. No hearsay in the press, did he say it did he not nope. He drove out the gates and told everyone straight and fair play, Modric to be fair has been guided badly here. You dont sign a 6 year contract and bleat towards the end of the season it may not be a tragedy if we dont make the champions league and then try and jump when we dont. Smacks of agent tomfoolery and f**k Abramovich and his yacht. We need signings now or we gonna have the same thing next year!
