Image for Adebayor With A&E?!!! [that picture]

Good evening to you,

Have you seen this man?

This image emerged on Twitter earlier this evening but I couldn’t bring it to you as the baby chimpanzee that hosts this blog had somehow managed to get both his arms stuck in his nappy and truss himself up like a Christmas goose with the string of his yo yo.

So here courtesy of @footballramble is that picture. If you click on the second image you should get a grainy close up that proves that if you enlarge an element of a crap picture you get an enlarged area of crapness.

So there you have it. We can’t make jokes about it being A&E doing a meet and greet with looters as whitey ain’t in the snap, but I am sure you’ll find it a great source of conversation anyway.

Remember most crimes occur within a few hundred yards of a Premiership referee, such as Full Dowd or Mark Clattennurk. So the chances of you being personally affected by a maniac are very low. Do sleep well.

Has it signed yet or are City still waiting for Madrid to come in?

On the other hand, here is something to raise the spirits:

Why? It’s a loan deal. That’s no help, just drags out the issue a la Keane, Bentley and will result in an even smaller transfer fee in the future. :cwy:

      • LLL says:

Says it’s a loan deal with 5m buy clause tacked on – I would guess meaning that they pay the 5m if they stay up. In which case, yes, similar to Keane, but at least we are shot for this season at least.

What is his actual market value anyway? 5m would be a very good price for us… Fact of the matter is that Levy is greatly over-valuing our dead wood because he was made to pay too much for them in the first place. We will take some sizeable hits getting rid, but hopefully this will make him more careful in the future, and indeed in the present with regard to Harry’s pursuit of Joe Cole and the like. It was telling that when Harry wanted Phil Neville, Levy obliged with a bid of 250K – of course Moyes etc said it was insulting, really I think it was Levy’s way of saying ‘Bollocks’ to Harry.

    .
I’m emailing DL c/o public.relations@tottenhamhotspur.com to beg him not to waste our dough on Joe Cole, please do likewise if you agree

    • LLL says:

Perhaps start one of those petitions and get it discussed in the HOC!

I don’t want him there, but I think you are setting a dangerous precedent here. I suspect that if you had posted the same about Gallas, and were listened to, he would never have signed for us.

I don’t think that there is a player anywhere that somebody would not want to see playing for us, and what happens if Arse supporters start posing as us, say that we should not sign Adebayor.

You might unwittingly opened a can of worms with this.

      • Snap says:

You can let the club know what you think, it’s our club, you’re allowed. Shut your can of worms.

        • SpurredoninDublin says:

I don’t think you get my point: Supposing Arsenal fans, pretending to be us, start e-mailing that we should not sign Adebayor or the next potential big name signing that we are after?

There is nothing wrong with letting the club know what you think, but organising mass mailings like this can backfire. You also need to bear in mind that so far, this is a rumour and nothing else.

        • Snap says:

It’s no good waiting until it’s a fact. And probably not a good idea to give ideas to Arsenal fans, they don’t have many of their own. Mass mailings will be dismissed by the club anyway, as will probably most emailed requests.

But the thought of HR bringing in Joe Cole makes me spit.

      • TMWNN says:

You’re making the presumption that Levy and Co. take any notice of the fans at all.

        • devonshirespur says:

Well you and I share almost completely opposite views on many Spurs issues so even if they take notice, who do they listen to?

        • Essexian76 says:

I’d lay good money that it was Levy who put the block on Cole’s arrival last summer, which Pee’d Harry off to no end if you recall. It was only the VDV last minute ‘hey presto’ that quelled any dissent, because Harry would’ve looked a pratt, well a bit more of one

  • DAVSPURS says:

A cousin of mine whose friends uncle washes elephants in the river next to Ady Dad and he told him is son has signed for Madrid in London

  • D.Levey says:

Harry said he dont no cos the chairman out of the country and he wont aswer the phone. Levey wont answer the phone because Harry keeps stabbing him in the back over Modric. I will be announcing signings later when i have heard from Madrid about letting there finger poker leave to replace Harry who is Joining the heroin looking sickly Neville on Utds NEW TACTICS TELEVISION STUDIO. WELL HE DID TELL FERGIE BY PHONE TO UP THE TEMPO.
