agree. there must be in the eyes of the law a marked difference between phone hacking to uncover corruption in the decision to award a tax payer funded 500m quid stadium to the almost bankrupt hammers and hacking to satisfy salacious gossip for purposes of selling a few copies of the NOTW.
that said, the hammers statement this morning was quite adamant that spurs had offered a deal. i await developments with great interest.
