Diarra ‘ITK’ Was Sadly ‘BS’

Good morning.

I do hope you kept your receipts. It turns out that Diarra transfer we were all encouraged to buy was in fact a lemon.

Things change of course, no man can predict the future. Look at Michael Fish. But it does make you wonder how it is that seemingly dozens of ‘in the know’ merchants told us repeatedly that this was done, double done and done again for the player to then say,

“Information about my departure is a lie. There is no agreement with Tottenham.”

I can understand one bloke calling it wrong – Benzema anyone? – but this smacks of bandwagon jumping.

The jury on Diarra was split anyhow. Some saw him as an ex Pompey type bloke and others argued you don’t play for Real Madrid for nothing. Well, now we’ll never know.

Ah well …next!

Spurs obviously aren’t an attractive club for big players any more. I mean look at what the club can offer (minimal wages or a place on the bench). Wish Daniel Levy and Redknapp would sort their heads out, they think they’re smart and clever for all this whealin and dealin BS but while we sit back and complacently wait for things to happen, every team around us is building – expect Adebayor to be a dead deal now!!!!

We just need to keep getting 4th-6th place finishes until we get the stadium sorted, then we are golden – patience my fellow yid

The Arse, Cheatski, ManUre and ManCity.com (which is a gay pornosite I´m told) all have much bigger stadiums hence can pay better wages

I feel extremely proud on how well this club is being run… frustrated at times yes… but our time will come you just wait and see

Well said. I’d also be up for Barton as those above are. Hopefully if this deal is fake it’s been a smoke-screen.

A couple of years ago, if you offered CL football, that would be enough to draw players in. However, with Manchequebook City, spending insane amounts of money, the option of say £60k a week and CL football, or £125k a week with the oil gushers, the majority of players will take the City shilling.

Anyone recall Nasri being transferred to Citeh and saying that he would rather be playing for Cheatski or Manure? Who in their right minds would want to sign him?

It’s not so much that we are not attractive, but that if the option is a beautiful fair maiden with kind heart and a fair dowry, or a fat greedy ugly hag that will lavish gifts on them beyond their wildest dreams, no matter how badly and shallowly they behave, too many will sell their souls for the hag’s purse.

Still feel the city bubble will burst! How long will these players be prepared to sit around taking the cash ??. Sounds good at first but they will soon realize that being at a winning club is just the same if not worse, than being at at ambitious club and being part of something

plus some random spanish u-21 from juve? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11675_7123489,00.html
“highly rated” you say but only by the likes of us and Villareal B, Rayo Vallecano, Celta Vigo, and Levante. Either we know something others don’t or this is the level we are at right now.
Will give the lad every chance but it’s hardly the awe-inspiring move we need to keep those within and without of our squad happy is it?

So where does this leave us now?? Personally I saw him as a potential great signing with him modders hud and sandro as our mainstay centr mids would have been very strong. We do need something to happen now because defore and VDV didnt work last year and as we saw on Monday it wont work this year. Whats the definition of insanity??? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result – sound familiar.

same old same old what the fu##s going on at our club seems like we can,t attract anyone .Even if we sold ratboy now who,s gonna join ?????

Seems someone wants more money than he’s being offered (again).
Im sure a deal was agreed & he was coming, but has decided to move/stretch the wages goalposts @ the last minute.
    Greedy Footballers.
He is no doubt a very decent player, but if I was Levy I’d look elsewhere.

On Cole, Levy would not be stupid enough to go for a player that turned us down once already, no matter what HR says.

I just hope the players that come in are decent with only a few days left, never works to leave things so late.
Enen VDV looked like he was playing for himself on Monday night.
