Spurs obviously aren’t an attractive club for big players any more. I mean look at what the club can offer (minimal wages or a place on the bench). A couple of years ago, if you offered CL football, that would be enough to draw players in. However, with Manchequebook City, spending insane amounts of money, the option of say £60k a week and CL football, or £125k a week with the oil gushers, the majority of players will take the City shilling.
Anyone recall Nasri being transferred to Citeh and saying that he would rather be playing for Cheatski or Manure? Who in their right minds would want to sign him?
