Interesting piece of loose gossip from (overseas reader) Mrs Eileen Dover who I understand is the revered author of ‘Clifftop Tragedy’ to name all of her published titles…
The name in the frame is that of attacking midfielder, Achille Emana. This guy has been in a bit of a, ‘no mans land’ for some time on the old transfer front.
But we have been scouting according to Eileen and at a glance this looks like – a quality Levy & Co buy – ala Zokora were we could snap him up for what, €6M? – Passing on…

I’ve just heard the interview and to be fair, he didn’t exactly come straight out with “Modric has a price”. It was more of a cliche type thing, but there are so many games being played by the club these days it’s difficult to know whether the management is completely cretinous or if they’re being told what to tell the press. Probably a little of both.
