We CAN Do’em – The PreMatch Prattle

Hello campers,

And so from yesterday to this evening… I genuinely think we can do this lot. What is key is for us to not sit around, huddled like dispossessed scaredy cats but to attack attack attack. ‘We scored one more than you!’ must be the battle cry tonight.

I have never seen the regimented, impenetrable ranks of Manchester United look so vulnerable.

Bizarrely our inept front line may well not prove a hindrance. In fact it’s a blessing that 3MP’s in the vets. An unsophisticated approach of hoofing isn’t the key to unlock their door.

Bale’s fearlessness, VdV’s wit and wisdom – these are the right tools fo this job.

Arry more than hinted that the team to play will be pretty much a repeat of the mob that did Hearts. Happy days. Fix bayonets…

Well, if you’d bought your ticket would you be disappointed if it was a kids outing?

I personally would find it both refreshing and acceptable, but you know these Spurs fans are never satisfied :freu

they won’t mind we haven’t got any central midfielders all of sudden and the strikers are shit, put on the youngsters

loved the way ‘arry deflected the issue of us getting stuffed in the post match interview by saying he’s been asking for certain type of players since he landed with us and still hasn’t got them ……

why did he waste all that money on the other deadbeats then?

      • kojac says:

what players are they then he has bought GK,DEF,MId and CF hasn’t he

all i heard him say was explain them scoring,i’ve given up on old trafford but that was a weak utd in my opinion and we couldn’t crack them,i guess krank and livermore wasn’t the answer

the pundits never criticise harry do they,no one was surprised we got beat easily

Just to play devils advocate it was United away. We were short 2-3 players. Doesn’t excuse the fact we haven’t signed a world class striker sing Berbacunt left. Could have done with O’Hara tonight…

    • MysteriousStranger says:

To mention us being short of players is amusing to me. Simply cos I sarcastically mentioned it earlier. You saw they were short of a few too, right?

Agree about O’Hara, but that horse has bolted unfortunately. Not Harry’s cup of tea.

It was United away but a poor United who were there for the taking, but our illustrious leader got it wrong…again, our game plan – shoot on sight FFS. Friedel (5), one great save, the rest were straight down his throat yet his experience was vital as he saved energy when required by not attempting to move for any of the goals when certain he was beaten.Ekkoto (7) & Kaboul(7) were OK but Daws(4) had a mare, Walker(4) poor in defence, Charlie(6) looked better, Livermore(5) and Krankie(5) were less than average, Bale(5) had a poor game and Lennon(-1) was awful, in fact Our worst player by a country mile….VDV(8) worked his socks off and Defoe(7) looked sharp. Thudd(3) and Pav(3) looked like they were playing a pre-season friendly…..Oh well, the only way is up! COYS

Youre not wrong on any count, just trying not to get too depressed too early, especially if we actually bring a few players in. If. if..
