Look let’s get a few things straight. I have a sore throat from screaming yesterday. I got so wrapped up in proceedings I didn’t even get around to drinking the house dry. But we just beat one of the worst Arsenal teams to play us in maybe over a decade.
Yes I am delighted, but we need to look at what happened yesterday. Enjoy some pomp, but not entirely forget the circumstance.
The team sheet managed to pit Modders and PNB against four and occasionally five of their lot in midfield. I would suggest that Arry actually fielded a side that would appeal to a Lane baying for a wrought rather than one that would be more suited to doing the job. He needed Sandro on from the start and he bottled it.
His line up’s success hinged upon ‘things going our way’ and with some particularly crap passing and a good few insane hoofs at Adebayor that didn’t transpire.

6 Some good runs but fluffed numerous chances this combined with being a defensive passenger made for a pretty lame performance. Must do better.

i’m still wondering what happened when city came to the lane,4 wins on the bounce makes up for it though,i hope we can keep winning and put some real pressure on the scums around us

Sandro and Parker propping up an attacking 4 of Bale, VdV, Rat face and Adeybayor is the way forward. It’s also better to let them form a partnership in case Rat face jumps ship in January.
Defoe is nothing but a flat track pygmy. We should have much better.

If you were at the game you would have seen that Defoe put in a great shift to cover for VDVs defensive lack of affort. He wasn’t on the end of any of our clear chances and if he was we probably would have won by more. Defoe worked as hard as anyone and his hard working closing down players all over the pitch was critical to our success.
I would just like to dispel this myth, that Sagna had Bale ‘all at sea.’ The fact of the matter was that Bale for a lot of the first hale was playing CM. Reasons best known to him and Arry; when he did spare the time to get wide, he caused the erstwhile dystychiphobe, problems; and who eventually came a cropper.

Sandro has a calf injury and has withdrawn from Brazil squad. Let’s hope it’s one of those 10 day injuries.
