The Martin Jol Poll

Good afternoon.

This has been niggling me for a while and as Frank Spencer’s mother did say, ‘A trouble shared is a trouble doubled.’ So tell me this. When we play at The Cottage on Sunday – where do you stand on the whole ‘I love Martin Jol’ song thing?

I think it’s a given that it’ll get an airing. Difficult to imagine it won’t. BMJ will be remembered as a deeply lovable chap, no two ways about it, but it doesn’t sit quite right that what was a great song will be rolled out too frequently given that he is …er …no longer our manager. Or am I just being miserable?

As highly trained medical staff across the globe attempt to lure Tottingham fans out of a Europa induced coma a great opportunity to have some fun at the expense of someone else. This snap & suggestion come courtesy of highly esteemed reader, Fatfish.

I thought I told you to cum on my face not in my hair?

Since Redknapp won’t be there to get precious about whether he’s any more or less popular than Jol, I say sing loud, and proud for Martin Jol, the popular one.

Like many people here, i will be at the game tomorrow. However much i am (strangely) looking forward to seeing BMJ again, this is a must win game for us if we are to keep our top four push going especially with Newcastle continually grinding out results and Arsenal coming up the rear (in true Wenger style!).

Anyhow here is an interview from the Guardian with BMJ:

When asked about the prospect of Jenas coming to the club on a permanent basis, McLeish said: “It all boils down to what he can give us on the field.

“We know the potential is there, we know the history of the guy and how well he can play.

“If he comes in and transforms the team then, of course, we are going to be interested.”

Back at Spurs next season then. :cwy:
