The Martin Jol Poll

Good afternoon.

This has been niggling me for a while and as Frank Spencer’s mother did say, ‘A trouble shared is a trouble doubled.’ So tell me this. When we play at The Cottage on Sunday – where do you stand on the whole ‘I love Martin Jol’ song thing?

I think it’s a given that it’ll get an airing. Difficult to imagine it won’t. BMJ will be remembered as a deeply lovable chap, no two ways about it, but it doesn’t sit quite right that what was a great song will be rolled out too frequently given that he is …er …no longer our manager. Or am I just being miserable?

As highly trained medical staff across the globe attempt to lure Tottingham fans out of a Europa induced coma a great opportunity to have some fun at the expense of someone else. This snap & suggestion come courtesy of highly esteemed reader, Fatfish.

Home or away you never sing for another manager or player irrespective of who is in the opposition dug out. You want to sing for Jol? Get a Fulham season ticket!

A polite cheer before kick off as a mark of respect should be enough.

We are not Martin Jol Til I Die, we are not Harry Redknapp Til I Die, or any other player or manager that will come and go in our life times.

Tottenham Til I Die, and not even Martin Jol will make me sing for anything other than the team I love!

I will respect Jol for giving us our respect back, hen gave us hope and he gave us belief.

To have to manager spurs under such awful machievlain conditions, where Kelmsley, Levy and Commilli conspired to control the football end of the club. Harry has manages to wrestle the football control back from the board room and we have benefited from having a true captain of the ship in charge.

If Jol came back tomorrow we would have an awesome club as long as Levy can do what he does best and manage the club at a business level
