Good morning.

Don’t cha wish your left back was A&E?

He not only plays football very well but he is a committed Oyster card user. And then we discover he owns the Shelby Mustang GT500 Eleanor of Gone in 60 seconds fame.

I’m not into cars and even I think that’s cool.

Was really looking forward to Thursday because I believed the pace in our team would have been too much for the Chavs.
If we are missing Bale and Lennon that will even it up a little.
Hope HR does not plsy VDV at RM if Lennon is not fit as Cole will run straight past him leaving Walker to deal with him and Mata.

Was at the game today. After 30 mins it looked likethe sort of frustrating game we’ve had to endure over the past couple of seasons. We dominated possession without creating too much and looked vulnerable to Sunderland’s counter attacks at times.

King was superb today, Sandro gave the ball away a few times but made several sensational tackles near our box. Given thathehasn’t had much football this season I’dmake him MOTM for his performance, just edging Benny.

Parker wasn’tat his best IMO, seemed to try to push forward too much and lost possession a few times.

Good goal from Pav, and some good link play. He missed a couple of good chances though and still cannot hold the ball up. Still best if he goes in Jan.

We also need a pacey replacement for Baleand Lennon, ideally Hoilett or maybe even Drenthe?

Cheers for the description, we are certainly light on cover for Lennon and Bale and have no natural cover for either, unless you count Andros.
Hoilett looks interesting although I am not sure he is a winger, but Blackburn may be looking to sell next month if it is true they are skint.
I think Drenthe is on loan at Everton till the Summer.
If we shift GDS, PAV, Corluka and Bassong next month, that should be 25-30 mill raised to strengthen still further.

I know Drenthe out of contract in the summer. Wasn’t too sure if it was a season long loan or not.

We need Bale back on Thursday. Would like to see Krank fill in for Lennon ’til we signsomeone. If memory serves me correct the last time Krank played right hand side was against Liverpool at home when we played sensationally.

Why not Townshend? Why overlook our own. Rooney came through young, so can some of our lads.

Hi Yachtsman, No problems mate, I posted mine at 10 pm and yours at 9.59 appeared simultanousley.

At the game today, not long back in sunny Yorkshire…. Sandro and VDV the pick of the bunch, first half awful…Pav done good, PNB neither use nor ornament going forward – just gets in the way (like J**** on acid) Walker, Friedel, The King and Gallas played like winners, Modders was indifferent and Adebayor average…..we won, they lost……wiv a bit of luck the boy Bale will be back for the chavs and we will play a back 3 with Bale and Walker as runners and PNB a will take a well deserved rest…. :shifty: BIOYCCC
