The sinister spectre of injuries looms though and we are still waiting to see if the boy Bale will be fit. The Mirror says he will be, the Daily Mail says he won’t.
Azza Blud’s injury has been revealed as small tear that might be right in a matter of just two or three weeks. But the reality as we all know is that it’ll take that plus numerous ‘getting back to full match fitness’ appearances. So see you sometime in February old man.
Let’s hope that Arry includes Sandro whatever happens. His second half against Sunderland was superb. As I said in the ratings for that one, the trio of him, Pathe News Boy and Modric really is the business.
If Bale is banjaxed, I’d roll with Brad, A&E, Kaboul, King, Walker, Sandro, Modric, PNB, Kranjcar vdV and Adebayor.
Eye-catchers on the betting front for me have to be Modric as anytime goalscorer at 5/2 …and for those with an iron constitution Chelsea HT, Spurs FT is a whopping 22/1 both courtesy of Boylesports.
Oh and news in from a usually reliable source that David Beckham will be at The Lane tomorrow. Presumably as a spectator.
Our plan b sucks. Not sure we even have one. We have two players who most teams would welcome in krankie and Peanut, but they don’t get a sniff.
Modric doesnt work on the right, same as VDV doesnt work on the right.

well i think we should have gone the kaboul/walker route on the right with vdv behind the big fella,it has balance and pace
we don’t need 4 central midfielders in the midfield but at least we didn’t lose,just my opinion of course,hindsight is a wonderful thing
Looking back at our start, there wasn’t much wrong with the starting formation. Passing was crisp and we looked in total control of the game.
Then they scored.
We allowed them to play at their pace for most of the final hour of the game. When we had chances at the end, it was after we injected some pace into the game.
The one time we were able to get Bale running at their defence led to our goal.
After that, they got bodies behind the ball and we ran out of ideas and eventually possession.
I to;d you what is going on yet you don’t believe a word i say teams are upping there work rate with Kolo Juice.

I’d drop Parker for Sandro to play with Modric in the middle.

My thoughts exactly,hate the idea of happy gooners.Kinda feel like my patience has run out with Pav,he looked clueless at times and seems to have lost his desire play.Anyway onwards and upwards,lets spank those canary bastards

thats right,they were there for the taking,we didn’t seem to believe we were better than them,even the lane,we got bogged down with the chavs,but hey at least evryone knows we are a match for anyone,even the mancs
