Good afternoon.

Call me mean spirited by some good news just in. Steven Pienaar, the player Jermaine J**** could have been is leaving The Lane.

One of the most mystifying signings we’ve probably ever made. Unexceptional at Everton, once inside the Lilywhite shirt he became effortlessly nondescript.

From The National.ae  then…

Elsewhere, Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham Hotspur manager, has told StevenPienaar to find himself a new club less than a year after signing the South Africa international from Everton.

Pienaar, 29, was sidelined by a series of injuries last year and since recovering his fitness this season has not been used in a single Premier League fixture.

Tottenham are expected to ask £6 million (Dh34.5m) for the midfielder; Everton attempted to bring him back on loan last summer.

Not certain, but there may have been a Peanut performance that reached the lofty heights of 4 out of 10. Clearly he was a disciple of the Danny Murphy School of Football.

Couldn’t believe it when we signed him, and to think Moyes wanted £15m for him when he only had a year left on his contract, and he was their player of the year. A mass outbreak of “The emperors new clothes” methinks.

L’Arse will have a major say in where the title goes as they have home games to come against Utd, City, Chavs and us. If they won all those games, they could still have a chance of winning it.
Our problem is likely to be most of the games against our main oposition are away games at City, Chavs, L’arse, Liverpool.
Surprised to see Townsend has gone on loan when without Lennon, we are lacking pace on one flank.
Was it a coincedence yesterday that we got over run after Parker went off ?

No coincidence, david-here’s hoping it’s not a major problem. Mind you the guy was almost playing on one leg for West Ham for a lot of last season! Our luck was in to bring in both Scott Parker & Manu Adebayor. Maybe the press conference is to announce the permanent signing of Adebayor … please Santa … belated, I know but I’ve been a very good true & loyal supporter for 47 years! We could do a lot worse.

The stadium is to be renamed The Stadium of Sunny D Light in referance to the sponsors new reduced chemical fruit flavoured liquid. The traditional red and white strip will slowly turn orange over time. The football clubs partnership with Fake Bake the UKs no1 fake tan product has been ended as Sunny D has pledged to keep the Sunny D Land players bright and sun tanned all year ’round.
However former chairman Niall Sean O’Cuinn has stated that there are no plans at this time to extend the sponsorship deal to any rambling or sponsored walking organisations. Saying No, No, Never….
