Elsewhere, Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham Hotspur manager, has told StevenPienaar to find himself a new club less than a year after signing the South Africa international from Everton.
Pienaar, 29, was sidelined by a series of injuries last year and since recovering his fitness this season has not been used in a single Premier League fixture.
Tottenham are expected to ask £6 million (Dh34.5m) for the midfielder; Everton attempted to bring him back on loan last summer.

Our luck was in to bring in both Scott Parker & Manu Adebayor. Maybe the press conference is to announce the permanent signing of Adebayor … please Santa … belated, I know but I’ve been a very good true & loyal supporter for 47 years! We could do a lot worse.

However former chairman Niall Sean O’Cuinn has stated that there are no plans at this time to extend the sponsorship deal to any rambling or sponsored walking organisations. Saying No, No, Never….
