The 10 O’Clocker: Wolves Schmolves

Guten tag.

Again. It’s the same song playing again on the bedside alarm clock radio. They say we’re young and we don’t know we won’t find out until we grow, well I don’t know if all that’s true…

Groundhog Day in N17 as yet again as we awake with the same trepidations about botching it against a less than brilliant side.  And then that pang of fear subsides a little because …we don’t do botch jobs anymore.

Wolves have only won away once this season in 10 games and that was against Blackburn. They’ve scored 8 times and conceded 19 times. In these 10 games they’ve just one clean sheet. This could be fun.

Prediction? I’m taking 7/1 on a 3 – 0 job from Boylesports

Not sure what the point of taking BAE off to replace him with broadmoor was, BAE didnt have his best game but offers much more of a threat than the talentless Rose.

im surprised nobody is worried about dawson coming back into the team, i only saw the second half and he got skinned badly selling himself twice that they should have done better from and was waistful if he had to pass any further than ten yards, i reckon hes going to cost us big time

Give it a rest, Rico – he’s not the captain for no reason… he has his limitations but his pluses far outweigh his minuses, for me, anyway…

I love Daws, he’s been a great servant to the club but I wonder where he fit’s in to our current ambitions, we are fighting for the title and I’m not sure thats his level. While he has been injured the club has moved on considerably.

Individually I like Dawson and Kaboul, but as a pair there isnt a brain between them. They need a King or a Gallas alongside them to act as their brain.

had a bad feeling about today especially with harry mouthing off in the press last couple of days. brought defoe on for azza totally lost our shape and didnt create another chance

One result does not make a season.

Its the best thing that couldve happened to us.

Alot of fans, the media & even the players were going abit overboard.
This should bring us back down to earth.

Parker was not 100%, how could he be.
Dawson & Kaboul need to work on positioning & concentration (which Im sure most of you know).
    Still not taking enough chances.
Bale looked at 50% & not all there.
I think Defoe deserves to start a game.
I really think we need King for the Man.C game.

If we didnt get that goal for a draw I’d say it was a bad result, but we did we. Wolves seem to know how to play us @ home.

Let’s hope on the training ground the team sort it out & are back ready for the next game.

Our shit shooting, freekicks and corners is the main reason why we’re not burying teams, and is what cost us dearly last season.

      • melcyid says:

exactly, we still need that killer striker for the last 2 years since we flogged off berba.

        @TMWNN

Can’t disagree with that. Apart from Pav, I am struggling to think of another goal we got from a free kick this season.

Regarding short corners, I can’t see that there has ever been a plan involved. Alternately, we rarely get the long corners onto the head of one of our players. And it seems that every time that we have a free kick within shooting range, everybody wants to score “goal of the month”, but have fogotten how.

HR said on Talksport last Wednesday that King was a week away from playing so he may appear against City.
Did not see the game today so relying on you guys comments. We have managed to avoid most of the other banana skins this season so suppose we should take this on the chin.
Saw Chavs and Sunderland highlights and MON team missed some good chances.
Pool dropped a point and hopefully the goons will drop some tomorrow.
So close to the top of the pile.

  • kwakspur is the only 1 talkin any sense here,we fell into the media trap,it exploded after wed night and we fuelled the fire, even if we think were ready to win the league or not we should be putting out the spin that were only after a champions league spot to keep things from gettin out of hand, thought we should have mixed the team up a bit today, wolves knew what to expect…its still not a bad result, how many times in the past would we have lost that game today, but we didnt..so not the end of the world..might do us good in the long run

    • Dutchman says:

Sisqo deserves to start a game..Why..? Because his agent is mouthing, or wether he was brilliant last 20 mins, and doesn’t shoot straight at keepers no more..?

      • kwakspur says:

No, because he has the best scoring record of our strikers.

        As simple as that.
He is a striker in the truest sense of the word.

All those chances Ade has messed up lately, he would score more.
        As he has done already.

Maybe sisqo is thinking, I score 10 in 14 games & still cant get a starting place, what more do I have to do.
Now he’s stressing about a place in England’s Euro Squad.

        • Dutchman says:

Not at all convinced..Sisqo’s a very average player..In fact..don’t know a striker with such bad positioning..
