Arry Redschnapps …England Manager

This whole Arry Redschnapps England manager impasse business is beginning to bug me. So perhaps a good juncture to ask supporters what they actually think.

The mood in the camp is I believe to be extremely mixed. The Arry haters have taken the whole situation as a free gift. A golden opportunity to mutter, ‘get rid‘ with each and every Redschnapp’s remark about who he would play if he were the national coach.

Now Arry’s said he’d like the job, but will the FA who are up to their knickers in debt already go the whole hog and splash out to secure his services? Somewhere in the middle lie those who are watching in slow-motion waiting to see if the chairman buckles and if the replacement makes their hearts sing …or not.

And at perhaps the furthest extreme we have the like of our old pal Norman Giller who posted on Facebook,

I have told Harry to make his decision NOT on what is right for Spurs or right for England but what is right for him and his family. Time to be selfish. There is pressure whichever way he turns.

Dropping like flies today, Bale and Walker injured for Sunday, Parker banned and HR horse got killed after falling at Taunton today.

the news about Bale is a worry

I believe Redknapp gets it right 90% of the time when he is allowed the luxury of fielding his strongest team.

With Bale and Parker out i dread to think what might unfold against the Mancs.

oh silly me not to worry im sure Lennon on the left and VDV on the right will see us come good.

I wouldn’t have agreed with you for most of last season on Redknapp, as he fell too much in love with 3MP and cost us a return to the Champions League. This year, I agree fully, he has been right on most of the time.

I am one of the few that thought his changes on Sunday were the correct ones. Modric and Parker were getting run over in the middle. It was not HR’s fault that his best holding mid made two terrible mistakes to give Arse the third and fourth goals.

It looks like we will have Gallas back for Manure. With Gallas and Ledders together, it doesn’t matter who we have up front, we won’t give up any goals.

Arry’s mind was elsewhere,he seemed upset at the grief he was getting from the crowd behind him and went into his shell,if he thinks the England job will be easier I think he’s in for a shock once the honeymoon period is over.
I’m surprised anybody thought his tactics were right, how could they possibly be right when you look at the end result.

What else could HR have done? Taking Parker and Modric off the pitch and putting in bigger, stronger midfielders was the only thing he could have done to stop the Arse attack.

An out of shape Sandro was the only option he had unfortunately. This was a match where having Peanut available would have been huge. Had they known that Thudd was not going to be fit by mid-Feb as originally projected, I doubt that they would have let him leave.

I don’t really get what your saying,How is it right to bring on very unfit VdV,and to persist in leaving Bale free to roam, not balancing the team with Lennon, sending players out unsure of their role etc
Generally not having an effective plan B or if needed C

Dragging out old farts like Pullit,Turnip Head, spammer Hurst to urge the FA to talk to Levy is an insult to the club and fans, this is having an effect on the team and after Manure we will be just 4 points ahead of the pack with Chelski to face.

They do seem to require a quote from everyone with a mild connection to football. If the answer was just a standard “no comment” then the old hands would not get their moment in the sun. It really is starting to disrupt us as instead of concentrating on the remainder of this season, players are thinking of where their future lies.
