Arry Redschnapps …England Manager

This whole Arry Redschnapps England manager impasse business is beginning to bug me. So perhaps a good juncture to ask supporters what they actually think.

The mood in the camp is I believe to be extremely mixed. The Arry haters have taken the whole situation as a free gift. A golden opportunity to mutter, ‘get rid‘ with each and every Redschnapp’s remark about who he would play if he were the national coach.

Now Arry’s said he’d like the job, but will the FA who are up to their knickers in debt already go the whole hog and splash out to secure his services? Somewhere in the middle lie those who are watching in slow-motion waiting to see if the chairman buckles and if the replacement makes their hearts sing …or not.

And at perhaps the furthest extreme we have the like of our old pal Norman Giller who posted on Facebook,

I have told Harry to make his decision NOT on what is right for Spurs or right for England but what is right for him and his family. Time to be selfish. There is pressure whichever way he turns.

  • Harry Hotspur says:

So a millionaire finds managing England less stressful than managing Spurs …or retiring?

  • Bruxie says:

It’ll be interesting to hear the support on Sunday.

Will we get another rendering of “We want you to stay”?

    I hope so.

it does fit the tune a lot better than “we want you to not get us rolled over at the scum due to tactical ineptitude.”

  • Mr THFC says:

He wouldn’t even have been considered if wasn’t for us! I’m more concerened about losing the likes of Bale and Modders, although if we got another old school manager like Venerbles for instance I would feel a bit better about it. I just have a ‘orrible feeling that we could end up with another twat from Europe whos master plan is to ban PIES! Here come the bad old days again!!!

    • Alspur says:

Harry can’t help us keep Modders – he couldn’t keep him in the Summer, Levy was responsible for that (despite Harry)…

      • Mr THFC says:

Your right there, but I still think we have a squad that admires droopy Bollocks and if he leaves other clubs will smell blood!

  • ric says:

Haha! Depends on what comes in! We would NOT loose last game with mourinho!

  • TMWNN says:

If we play like we did last Sunday, I hope he stays, but at home with the dogs for the next game.

In fact, I’d like the new man in pronto so as to give us a chance of actually winning something (the cup) before this tactical baboon blows it with his fag packet football philosphies.

Never mind the embarrassingly cringeworthy and hypocritical “We want you to stay”, which will just go to his head and actually lead him to believe that he is a good manager rather than a two bob charlatan chancer who struck the jackpot, he needs to get back to sticking to the basics.

Here is a bloke who was shown close up exactly how not to play away from home by Pardew, but rather than learn anything from it, the chump made exactly the same suicidal mistake and with the same result, conceding 5 unanswered goals.

      Spot on…. :daumen:

I think that’s a bit harsh, but there is no escaping that our loss to the despicables was a lot to do with tactical naivety on HR’s part.I wondered a long time ago wether Bale could play in the center more, that has proved a total failure, time for Lennon on right, Bale on Left. There cant be any more excuses for the experiment. :-(
