Good morning.
I have a few things to attend to before the undertaker arrives to prepare my mortal remains… so I won’t wade through these docs line by line. It would also be far more interesting to hear your thoughts on them.
In broad brushstrokes 2016 is the proposed year they let the Client Reference numbers loose on the premises. And then here’s my facile pick of the pops.
Click on the image below for the full Agenda – and my sincere thanks by the way to Fatfish for the heads up on this.
- Haringey residents to first dibs on development job opportunities. Treat yourself or a loved one to a match day Ralph Coates™ hair extension courtesy of THFC’s Official Syrup, Nail Bar, Internet & Western Union Transfer Partner, ‘Tropical Tings’.
- THFC to pay for new signage (estimated cost) £477,000. Harry Hotspur Highways Inc. (Est. 20 minutes ago) is working around the clock on making ‘some signs’ in order to tender for this
windfall contract.
- A shuttle bus to run to/from Victoria. May your gods go with you.
- A target of 77% of attendees at games not use a car for the bulk of their travel to games. Which is cool.
- A third escalator at Tottenham Hale. Which of course TFL have yet to agree to – Get On With It!
- Podium & Access Space to host at least 12 community events per annum. But why is this only for 6 years?
- Move to Haringey! Priority season tickets for year one of the development. ‘My name and address? Yes, it’s J R Hartley, care of flat 93, Loota Towers, Tenants Ave, N17.’
- The re-naming of White Hart Lane East. The Chick King cul-de-sac could become a reality. Vote now!
- The instigation of a Car Club. I can’t work out what this. Hopefully a priority area for dogging.
- A 25 year lease for a 1000 sq ft of Health Care. If you can get past the the gentleman in a trance clutching a purple tin nodding to the centre’s musak, you can speak to a member of staff about having a the syringe you stood on removed from your shoe.
- £1.861m on improvements and highway works to Northumberland Park, Landsdowne Road and the High Road. So that’s what buying Pienaar was all about.
Adeboy? Adisday!
Long time ago and long before he came to Spurs….
Agree with the team though. Adebayor needs to start taking it a bit more seriously and not treating every game as a bit of a laugh, or as if he’s in training. His metamorphosis into a black version of Crouch is starting to scare me.
:daumen:
Some might think calling anyone ‘a black version of Crouch’ is almost as insulting as one of Terry’s choice phrases. :-)
insulting because of the black insinuation or the crouch one?
Would ‘multi-coloured uselessness’ be an agreeable term?
Sounds like a rainbow.
The man has become way to laid back, he needs to snap himself out of it and start producing!!
The second clearly.
We all know he’s better than that gormless streak of piss,I’d just wish he’d start showing it.
I was impressed when he came, but he’s been looking second rate recently; touch, passing, movement etc.
But he’s a huge name with a massive price tag and mega wages-right up your street! tch-talk about fickle!
Over the last few weeks i’ve been getting the distinct impression that you don’t like TMWNN very much
I think anyone who’s posts are so consistently inconsistent, unrealistic and badly thought out-really should be applying for a job in local government..perhaps Haringey have a opening?
London Mayor’s Office :daumen:
What with Happy Boris and Laughing boy Ken!…actually you’re on a winner there!
Couldn’t do any worse than Bo-Jo the Clown! :silly:
Oh, mate you couldn’t make ’em up-prized fuckwits-and Londoners have to vote for them- it’s like saying Hannibal Lector or Jack the Ripper, who do you want to babysit your ki?-and that’s supposed to democracy-wtf!
Couldn’t agree with you more, and i would love to elaborate further but won’t due to the fact that some brainwashed Dail Mail reading right-wing tw*t will come on here and accuse me of being some kind of ‘Marxist-Communist-Maoist-Leninist-Terrorist-Noxious-Moronic-Leftie’
My days of banging my head against a brick wall are over. If moronic sheep want to vote for these cretins, then good luck to them- let them find out for themselves the hard way. I’m tired and i’m done wasting my time and energy on them.
Bill, you don’t have to mate-trust me-as I said I just built the wall nearer and moved the chair closer to save time-fckin heads killin’ me
Thankfully my regular intake of a fistful of Diazepam and a bottle of Famous Grouse helps numb the pain ;-)
Is it better than Jamesons?
I’ve never had the pleasure/misfortune of trying whiskypiss  , so i couldn’t possibly comment
I wouldn’t say his movement or passing was in any way different to the start of the season, but his sharpness definitely is. He looks unsure in front of goal and wants to walk the ball in. Defoe is like that frequently, his best efforts are always when he has no time to think.
If I could give Defoe advice I’d say “don’t place it, just hit it!”
Perhaps JimLad-he ain’t fully fit and therefore his mobility is affected? That’s one of the problems with playing to a system and having no plan B to fall back on!
Absolutely hes not 100%, I don’t think Mod or Bale are either. In fact any player in the league 100% fit hasn’t been doing his job properly. I am in total agreement we don’t have a plan B and that is a problem. Its almost laughable that plan B was sold to stoke!(not that I’m against him going). Do you think Saha could be that? For me, he could be a gem but also a disaster.
Well, for starters I think any plans for this summer would’ve been already in place as we’re looking to the CL as a near certainty, if there ever was such a thing. Adebayor was only ever an expensive plaster over a gaping wound, and Saha a less inexpensive fix. My own view is Leandro will come in the summer along with a few others, but departures such as Bale and Modric may have to go in order to finance any massive player influx, assuming a new bloke would require his own staff etc. I believe that’s why it was vital to get shot of the deadwood by way of consolidation, and once again Levy has to be applauded for calling it dead right..once again!
I really like Adebayor – I think he’s a breath of fresh air, to be honest…
…he’s a proper footballer but I think he’s suffered from playing without any support – he had VDV (before Livershite – when he had no support, at all…), but it’s coincided with a period when VDV’s been dropping ever deeper into MF to help out, so he’s been very isolated…
He’s looked a bit tired in the last couple of games, I’ll give you that, but I think he’s quality and will come good, again…
Anyway, here’s hoping… :D
It’s always going to come back to money I’m afraid, and the simple fact we’ve not the resources to pay him what he’s on, let alone what City may want. Bit harsh on Livermore, the guys done well in every position he’s been asked to play, and hasn’t been given a specific role, only specific instructions for that role. Give him time to establish a position much like Sandro, who if you’re honest looked a liability when he first stepped up.
I am glad Levy holds all the cards.
H where did you get that picture grandad Reverend Suarez? Massive scoop.
My lips are sealed, citizen. I cannot divulge me sauces :-D
Lloyd Grossman?
Daddies, make!
HH and HR- Tight lipped supremos.
Any football on this weekend? Getting hacked off with all this media crap.
Hacked. Geddit?
Off. Gettit?
Off. Gettit? :winke:
There is already a car share scheme in Tottenham. You buy a car, and some scrote in a hoody wearing reebok classics comes to you’re house while sleeping and shares it with you.
*your
Does he snore
Easy duchess.
You know her, then? (You’re not wrong, by the way…)
good one :-D
Is this a trick question?? Does he join you and the misses in the car….is it STAN COLLYMORE???
Or trashes it then asks you to pay for the refurbishment-sound familiar?
