The near feverish allure of the old Premiership rupees combined with a resurgent season have only added vim and vigor to the Tottingham’s place in transfer tittle tattle.
Eden Hazard’s name is still doing the rounds. No shocker there. One minute he’s saying we’d fit the bill (bless him) the next he’s flattered by interested in interest from Sluralix. The boy’s done well, hence perhaps the initial Premiership interest from Auntie Wenger.
Bottom line is he’s an arguably polished Taarabt. To be frank I’m struggling to see the allure.
Another name doing the rounds is that of Moussa Dembele. Ouch. I’d kinda hoped we weren’t in Fulham territory these days when it came to transfer speculation. Yep, upon careful consideration I’d rather have a tooth removed by a drunk with crowbar than see some 3rd rate plumber’s mate like Moussa in the Lilywhite.
Elsewhere, the 24 year old Spanish International Adrian is linked. With £15m’s worth of buy out clause it doesn’t make him impossible, but is he Champions League material? I’m unconvinced.
My concern is more about who will be managing us after August and who’ll they will actually buy…
Hazard is a top top talent .. Not the finished article but he is currently twice the player Lennon is!!
It would also appear that you along with some of the people commenting dismiss players because of who they play for. Dembele should not be dismissed just because he plays for Fulham, he is technically very good, his first touch his top class, he is one of the best dribblers in the prem and can play a pass. He would suit our current team very well!!
Saying he isnt good enough because he plays for Fulham is stupid.. Using that logic we shouldnt have signed Bale, Lennon, Kaboul, Benny, Walker, Parker or Dawson as they all came from clubs that were even lower than Fulham!!

I wasnt saying we shouldnt have signed those players from my own point of view!! Im happy with all of them and agree with what you have said!! I was simply saying that if Dembele isnt good enough because he plays for Fulham then the others shouldnt have been either because they all came from lower teams!!

We need: Krul, Vertonghen, Hazard and a striker. One maybe two from: Remy, Giroud, Ba, Llorente, soldado, podolski, huntelaar or cavani. All do-able targets too. Let ade go back to man city and get a complete striker or 2 if we let saha go.
Vertonghen is plenty, the rest can wait a season, still got Cuddly Hudds to come back-by which time we’ll need a decent keeper

Would love to see Llorente in a Spurs shirt, but his goal last night against ManU must have put another 10M on his asking price.
