What Time Do You Call This?!

Good morning.

Stevenage indoors it is and we are in for a night of it one way or another. The air of anticipation of will hopefully manifest itself in riotous orgy of flag waving, the singing of songs and chants of love and support.

Alternatively after two losses good number may be sat arms folded, with a look on their face like the one your mother wore when she was waiting for your father to show up; five hours after he rang her from a bar and said he’d be home in an hour.

Museum pieces like me will be in their element as a strong side is expected and we will actually be in for a good old cup tie. Until they collapsed Bimingham gave  Chelsea a damn good go last night. The FA Cup has suffered in football’s process of natural selection but there is great mix of sides still in it this season and it’s worth treating with respect.

Eye catcher bets a plenty. For those wanting to give their heart a good work out but lacking necessary get up and go to hit the gym: Stevenage Half Time, Tottenham Full Time is whopping 20/1. Spurs will pile the pressure on from the off: First Goal is an own goal 25/1. Fancy buying some insurance?: Spurs to win after Extra Time 8/1. Very confident of a goal fest?: Over 1.5 Home Goals 2/9.

I’m usually a fan of your website harry, and always make an effort to give it a read… But in the same week you’ve posted two incredibly short-sighted articles about getting rid of Redknapp. (Articles which I found to be the absolute worst type of knee-jerk reactionary bollox spouted on spurs forums). it’s a little bit much to then slag fans off who “sat arms folded, with a look on their face like the one your mother wore when she was waiting for your father to show up; five hours after he rang her from a bar and said he’d be home in an hour”. Everyone is entitled to a opinion, and it doesn’t matter to me if you go to games or not… But why slag spurs fans off who go to games- when all you’ve ‘added’ to your support is to suggest we get rid of the best manager we’ve had in over 20 years, just because we’ve lost two games…. but I mean Jesus, its not as if were sat 3rd in the league or anything, two winnable home games away from a wembley semi final, with one of the best spurs teams in over 20 years or anything is it!

Some (a lot) were sat with arms folded on Sunday.

      Sometimes the truth hurts.

matt_spurs don’t you come on here with that kind of optimism with your glass half full. The depressing gits on here will stamp out that flame of hope in two seconds flat!!

But thanks for saying what a few of us on here have been trying to say recently amidst all the others that seem to be one loss away from slitting their wrists!!

3rd in the table, still in the FA Cup and I’ve got 8 bottles of Sol (not RSol!!) in the fridge with a lime to boot!! Good times!!

Back to the sad Pole between the woolwich poles… i guess he does his spurs hate to win over more home fans… insecurity, its written all over his face

That is the way I was thinking. It is not even as if he is a Woolwich Wanderers legend with a cupboard full of medals. So far he has done absolutely nothing in the game and he persists in giving it very large at every opportunity. I guess truly great players do not need to say anything at all, they just do all their talking on the pitch. I just cannot imagine someone like say a Brady or Bergkamp ever coming out with any such rubbish about us. In the same way I could never imagine Stevie Perryman or Glenn Hoddle coming out with such rubbish about them. That old saying about class being permenant seems highly appropriate!!!!
      COYS !!!!
