Misery

Hello.

Misery is alive, Misery is alive! Oh, This whole house is going to be full of romance, Oooh, I am going to put on my Liberace records!

There are of course some who believe me to be some twisted firestarter that revels in this gloom. I wish. Well I don’t; but you know what I mean.

And so now another one bites the dust as Benny is thought out for the season with a discombobulated hairbrush.

The issue here is that whilst you can never predict injuries, you can at least acknowledge that they are more likely to happen than not. It isn’t yet a non contact sport.

We appeared to have loaned everybody out. Does anyone know how a loan deal operates? Surely we can just recall who we want, when we want? Certainly Sluralix demanded the instant return of his youth players from Preston when his son was binned.

We don’t have much choice in the matter and the likes of Caulker, Pienaar, Charlie and Bassong might be a mixed bag, but they are on the books.

Arry has emerged from his ornamental koi carp pond to declare that the race for fourth, possibly even third is definitely on. Wacky Races more like.

“It’s down to the players.” He says. Well, yeah but no but. The players as was suggested here aren’t HP. And er… that’s over charges leveled at er …you, Arry.

A source talking to goal.com seems to reinforce the gist of what I writted here that a cabal of players have complained via their agents and personal shoppers directly to Levy & Co. over the quality of training and coaching.

If this source has any voracity or not is irrelevant. Cabal is great word and it’s always a pleasure to see it used. Unless the THFC board are trapped somewhere with no media access they can see all of these things for themselves.

So time to recall all the troops and try to galvanize something out of what has become a rather shabby affair.

Oh forgive me for prattling away and making everything all oogy.

Agreed with Bale to LB – Barca would play him there, we should too, like Walker does on the right. Any one from Kranjar, Modric, VdV, Pienaar to play ahead of him at LM and would naturally play inside, leaving plenty of space for Bale to roam into… He would be devestating running into the amount of space Walker sometimes gets (ad proven against Inter last year) – even lennon, GDS or townsend, rose would do a job there, and would not be a liability like playing Rose at left back. Bale needs the experience playing there, he’s young and could be the best in the world… Daniel Alves is rated as one of the best RBs going, but you wouldnt call him a defender really would you?

What about young Danny Rose, surely he bis better suited, than VDV Modric.. He has played well when he comes on, look how well he played when he came on against QPR.

Rose would offer more defensive cover than GDS, but sure why be cautious at this stage, I say ‘go for it!’ against B’burn…..like Dr. Pepper’s @Whats the worst that could happen?’

Agree with switching Bale to LB he would get loads of space. Who to play ahead of him is tricky. Krankie is out for the season so it leaves possibly Modders in that our central midfield needs Parker and Sandro to protect our vulnerable central defence Gallas plus Ledley or Nelsen ????? . Modders did play well coming in from the left in the season we finished 4th. We have very few options. Maybe GDS but he is better from the right. Assuming no other injuries or walk outs from now we have only got the following available for Sunday…

    Friedal

    Walker Gallas King/Nelsen Bale

    Lennon Parker Sandro Modders

    JD DvD

Subs GDS, ???????????????????? Answers on a postcard.

Most of the rest of the squad have disappeared or gone out on loan. The pictures on Facebook of training at the Lodge today suggest there is nobody else so as for the subs bench who knows????? What a shambles.

I forgot Livermore but everybody else has left the building.

    • LLL says:

Nelsen is also out for the season, nice buy that one, and Harry wants to sign him up for another year. Triffic.

We may be looking at playing Khumalo very soon. Pfft. Whatever, bring it on. I only expect more disaster and pain now, makes no difference.

      • Anthony says:

They cannot possibly all be injured surely… Out injured are supposedly then… AnE, Huddlestone, Dawson, Nelsen, Krankie, Adebayor, Kaboom, Saha ??, we only need another 3 for a whole team ! Absolute shambles just cannot wait for the season to be over and whatever happens just hope it happens quickly thereafter and we can get a new Manager in place early so that he can do any business in the Market ASAP. Whoever does come in as boss is going to be very busy .

  • yid747 says:

get the saggy faced idiot out asap for the sake of our club!!!!
