The Player Ratings, Just As They Ever Were…

Welcome to the player ratings.

Apologies to the purists that had their blogging routine disrupted by the whole Uncle Woy business. But that’s the business we call ‘show’. Here’s my assessment of the runners and riders.

And my thanks to Aaron ‘The Baker’, with whom I watched the game. I hope your Tipana was as delicious as you described it although chicken livers and me have never been close friends. One more goal and we’d have brought William Hill to it’s knees.

 7.001 Clean sheet

7.002 Bless him, his children and all his relations past and present for that goal. His performance otherwise was less blessing worthy.

6.009 Hardly troubled by the world’s greatest attacking forces.

 6.000 Hammerfoot the movie.

4.999 Daft as a brush. Good job this was Blackburn.

5.999 Another flattering to deceive gig. Fizzed, popped but never really hurt a thoroughly second/third rate side.

9.100 Oh yeah baby. Good in all sorts of ways. More please…

7.000 Kind of alright. Against garbage like this I expected more. If I’m allowed to be honest.

5.888  ‘He plays on the left’, why does he feel that this is such a second class gig? Who cares? Somebody needs to manage him or ship him out.

6.999 He’s a gift. Our manager appears to ‘indulge him’ somewhat. There’s a quote about that sort of thing, if my memory serves me right…

6.777 Disappointing a good few times again but it’s tough to fall out of love with such a selfless player.

my verdict on yesterdays game – average performance against a useless team who didn’t bother to show up, whether we’ll win the two key away games making so few chances is less likely, sandro should be 1st name on team sheet, parker has done well but slows our play up too much when we need to get into teams

‘arry looked despondent today, obviously realised his current gig is miles better than no gig, the whole dynamic of the club has been in limbo whilst the speculation has been rumbling on, this summer is going to be fun rat boy’s suiters have bought a cheaper option so he might need to suck levy off to get his pay rise, all this talk of bale to barca = total bollox, on current form he’d struggle to get a game for bolton

the fa know england won’t win anything so a safe cheap pair of hands will win all day especially when the so called golden ticket’s team have barely won a game in three months

Will be interesting to see what effect HR staying has on our performances for the rest of the season.
Both away games will be tough as our opponents will be fighting for their lives and Kevin Davies always scores against us and warmed up with 2 goals at the weekend.
Think fourth is the best we can hope for now.

seriously when’s the last time we won at bolton in the league?

villa away? they’re a shambles but fighting for survival now

fourth will be a tough ask now IMO, we’ll need to get back to winning ways on the road and then beat fulham, personally I think cheatski will nick it at the death, they got the momentum

    Walker……Gallas……Kaboom……Bale
    Lennon……Parker……Sandro……Rose
    ………..Ade……………………..
    ……….Defoe…………………….

Walker given free kicks outside the box

    0 – 2 win for Spurs…..onwards to Villa

Levy has learned a lot about our Arry in the past couple of months and holds the upper hand big time, can’t wait to see what happens in the next few weeks.TWITCHY OUT(you disloyal self serving c**t) :finn:

The summer will be another fiasco with the international team a laughing stock and endless conjecture and speculation about our players. Instead of looking forward to the new season I only feel a sense of dread. Where will be in four months time?

Contemplating our first Ropey League game. Musing on the fact that Ledley and William have been ruled out for 8 weeks. Wondering if the Saha/Defoe combination will work. Marvelling at the solidity the PNB/ Phil Neville duo gives us in midfield. Cursing Kaboom’s injury and praying that Half-Nelson doesn’t pick up a knock. Wishing Sandro well in Serie A. Thinking “Bentley’s lost a bit of pace, but with Azza Blud injured, who else have we got?”.

        :-(

          Only kidding.
Still chuckling at The Goons missing out on CL football (4th but Chelsea win final).
Replaying videos of Hazard crossing to Leandro Damaio for his 6 goals so far this season. Debating how long Krul will put up with being second choice to Vorm. Saying “Nice work down the left, Gareth. And that goal with your right foot was a beauty.”
Marvelling at how attacking a team managed by Maureen can be.

        • Hartley says:

          :daumen:

        • Phil McAvity says:

So we’re going to play Krul at CB???

      • Anthony In That Number says:

We will still have Jenas of course !!!
