Freidel is fine. He may not come for crosses but at least the defenders know what to expect. few keepers are the complete package these days…I’d say Hart. the rest all have something a bit suspect in the game.

Parker and Sandro can job share, no problem. And if we get the right players in they’d work well in a 4231.
Defoe can go if he want’s we’ll get good money for him (£8m-£10m) and we’ll replace. He’d be third choice so even Saha as an option could work.
The euro is trading at 1.25 to the pound.
For most of the last 12 months its been more like 1.15.
That already means if we offered 12.5m euro its costing us £10m whereas 1 year ago the same bid would cost another £900k.
Perhaps Levy is just waiting for the euro to collapse and then 12.5m euro will probably be equivalent to about £8m
