Get Your Middle Class ITK Here

Hallo.

What news from yonder window breaks? Well not too much. Sufficient for the day thereof as they say…

I’ve always loved the idea of a middle class ITK. Not for any pretentious value I swear; rather for someone to rock the ITK mic who spoke didn’t spew out riddles and other self indulgent algorithms.

The current relationship between Levy & Co. and the Spazmeister General that is our current manager has then today been described as, ‘perfunctory‘.

… This female source tells me, “Oh by all means, let them know I’m a bird, Harry!”  that the exchanges between the two have become hard work largely as Arry is taking every contact as a potential threat.

There are of course exchanges but at best they can be described as perfunctory. Harry feels and doesn’t hesitate to say …that he’s due a break after a successful season and others are shall we say… doing very well indeed to remain speechless.

Arry knows that he’s screwed up and whilst the press might enjoy his company… THFC are all too well aware they have been left high and dry both in financial terms and indeed in the transfer market arena by the repercussions of Arry being ‘distracted’ by the England job that he was never ever actually in the running for.

Those still whining on about our best season witnessed by anyone under the age of 97 might want to consider if their footballing priority is Tottenham or something more sinister they may might to share with the group.

4th sounded great at the beginning of the season, but now amounts to being worth less than nothing.  Lets hope that the situation deteriorates further and the Board can ship in a professional.

Looks like the Vertonghen deal is going through (heres hoping)- Is he as good as his youtube channel?

  • mynameisluka says:

Fox and Sky are both reporting that Levy is at Ajax…well I suppose if you believe them you swallow anything!- hopefully he’ll sign- he looks half decent!

    • Frontwheel 2 says:

He could be the signing that helps us not only keep our best but add more class to the squad, fingers crossed.

  • Spurstacus says:

Whatever happens with HR, and personally I think he will stay, I just hope that DL poll’s his finger out and gets some decent players signed.

    • Spurstacus says:

However if HR does go; who’s to say that there will be an exodus? It just does not follow, it’s not logical and it would be hard to find a precedence to support the idea. IE. Manager popular with the players leaves- All the best players leave as well. Nonsense.
      My predictions:
      1. HR stays.
      2. Our best players stay. (Bale, Modders etc. Where all this horsesh*t about Sandro has come from is anyone’s guess).
      3. Ade will be at Spurs next term.
      4. Much of the deadwood we have been carrying will be gone. (Gio, Bentley etc. Exactly who is impossible to tell).
      5. We will start the season with some top draw additions, because despite Cheatskis win we ARE a Champs league side, and players will recognize that.
      Observation:
      1. Our ranks are full of doom mongers and panic merchants. The kind of men you definitely would not want alongside you in the trench’s. Careless talk cost’s lives my old mum used to say.
      Prediction:
      6. We will challenge once again for the top spot and finish in the top 4 at least because we are a Champs League side.

This squad was good for 78/79 points. No more than that. In a season that Man C at one point looked to go above 90 the title was never on. But we should have got 78 points, with breaking the 70 point barrier an absolute minimum. If we would have achieved 78 points and still come 4th then – we would have to take it on the chin. But we didn’t – we lost our focus and fucked up. We crapped out on 3 games that no serious contender would have crapped out on. When the chips were down we didn’t perform. We didn’t lose our champions league place last weekend – we lost it in February.

So, another ‘nearly’ or ‘what could of been’ season for us. I would like to see my beloved THFC go down a different path, i’m sure many won’t agree. How about instead of plugging gaps with over priced ‘triffic’ players like Adebayor, Remy, Damao etc etc and settle for the inevitable disappointment that ensues, why not flog the wantaways while their price is still good. Bog off to cheatski Modric. Bale, if you think you are good enough for Barca, then off you go, good luck. Let us build a fantastic, worthy stadium of hope. Let us bring a fresh, young manager who actually wants us to succeed and improve rather than his own ego and bank balance. Bring through some of the promising younger players with a few experienced reliable proffesionals. Let us get rid of our bottling, choking mentality which seems to be part and parcel of most spurs teams i have seen. Lets not kid ourselves we are worthy of a top 4 spot until we can put in consistant performances and have a direction. We will not be contenders for Cl for a few years but when we are, we might just stay there deservedly for a long time after!

    • Im sorry mate.I am a classic piece.I dont have time to wait for another F ing rebuilding.
      Look why dump everything now?
We have a group that are good. They have been mismanaged with the manager using tea leaves(no not those) instead of good basic ideas.Defend and Attack, protect and destroy, stop them from scoring and do not stop scoring.
      Mark,Tackle,Pass,Shoot.
Forget the stupid offside trap stand BEHIND the opponents attackers.
Fill in with the players we need even if we have to sell Modric.
Strikers should only spend a few minutes on the bench not the whole f ing game.
      Its simple.
We need a manager that understands tactics and understands the value of each player without waiting for others to have heart attacks.
No rebuilding get it done NOW.
Sorry I have no time and dont thin 4th oir 5th is becoming of the greatest club that ever lived.
